STAY FAR FAR AWAY! Not sure how this guy is still in business, he owns a Cricket phone that he rarely answers. His voicemail box is ALWAYS full, not very surprising. He never returns your emails or text messages after asking to communicate via text due to his busy schedule. Uh huh. Not only that but he works off a laptop which he mentioned one time, "My hard drive is ruined and had all files." He's such a fraud and a horrible attorney, I do recommend EVERYONE to stay away from him. He'll only answer your messages if you drive over to him because he won't answer phone calls, text messages, and emails. TRUST ME ON THIS GUY, let's make sure he makes no business because he'll just take your money and run.
He helped me and saved me money. I had a criminal matter. I called around and everyone wanted 4 to 5 thousand dollars. I contacted Mr. Irvin and he handled my matter quickly. I was able to have the matter eventually expunged as he helped me with a Plea in abeyanse. I know that if I did not have him at court I would have gone to jail. He only charged a fraction of what the other people wanted.
Dont waste your money that you dont have on Daniel Irvin.. Daniel Irvin DON'T HIRE HIM he has been reported to the bar by me and so many others. He doesn't show up for court proceedings and says he never received money. He told me that if i turned him to the state bar that he would sue me for $1500. He doesn't type up an agreement watch out cause great lawyers protect them with that agreement. Bad enough that he cant even return phone calls. DON'T WASTE MONEY YOU DON'T HAVE ON THIS MAN BAD LAWYER... Should take his license away!!! :)
Beware of Dan. This guy is a total bottom feeder. Dan made huge promises & once he got my money, he ignored my case to the point where I was at the mercy of the court. While speaking to Dan on the phone, when I respectfully inquired as to why he had done absolutely nothing that he told me he was going to do, he screamed and cursed at me for some time. I was shocked and dismayed that this individual had a license to practice law. All I can say is if you hire Dan Irvin, you will live to regret it.
Very Helpful. Mr. Irvin helped my sister on a criminal matter and through motions got it dismissed. She was so excited and the prosecutor was shocked when the judge dismissed. Mr. Irvin was great and just kept at it and at it, the matter had been dismissed once before but appealed somehow by the prosecutor. Mr. Irvin never gave up and was honest with us about everything, the one drawback was when he had a couple of hearings he also had another appearance he had to make in the same building but another court and we would wait, but having it dismissed was well worth the wait, Mr. Irvin was worth every penny my sister paid him.
BIGGEST BANG FOR THE BUCK!!!. Daniel was priced much lower than every attorney I talked to. Worked with me on payments. Didn't pad the bill. Was able to wade through my legal mess and cut to the chase and gave me my options clearly. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep. In court he ran circles around the prosecutor and had most of the charges thrown out for insufficient or unadmissable evidence. And got me a way better deal than I was originally offered. NO JAIL TIME AND REDUCED CHARGES AND FINE. Even with his fee he saved my tons of money not mention my job. He has a very small firm and low overhead to keep his rates low so no bells and whistles but genius in the courtroom.
Horrible. Never returns phone calls. Doesn't know anything about custody cases. Wastes everyone's time and money to make a quick buck.
No good deed goes unpunished.... Here is a prime example of a Law Firm that suffers from it's own good deeds. I was a paralegal of Daniel's and did some contract work for him also. After seeing and hearing from most of his clients I advised Daniel that he wasn't billing enough for his time. Daniel's response was, " My clients have been through enough...", after which I explained that in my observation, the clients that were hardest to work with or most impatient, were actually the ones that never paid or were constantly behind paying for their services. Those that made complaints with the bar were particularly shady in my observation, not disclosing pertinent information about their case and in one instance they had stopped payment on a check, after services were already rendered (you know who you are), or just promised to pay and never did. One client was even upset that Daniel advised that her son was facing jail time. Feeling that this constituted a threat the client made a complaint with the bar. In following up on the case, even with a new attorney her son had received jail time, so in this case what she was told was true and intended to be honest advice to the client, but the truth was too harsh? All other complaints that I heard about were without merit and dismissed. Following up with the clients that took their cases to other attorneys I found that in most every case the new attorney was paid in full up front and did much less work, often setting the case back or settling for much less than they had hoped for, or what Daniel was prepared to fight for. BOTTOM LINE! Daniel is a fierce advocate for those with hardships and is willing to work with anyone within reason. Where other attorneys focus on the turn-over of cases Daniel is there to defend his clients best interests. If you are looking for an ex-prosecutor who always sides with the courts then by all means give them your business. It is just unfortunate that some of the more dishonest people Daniel has dealt with have repaid his kindness with bad referrals and unpaid bills
He is an attorney. Mr. Irvin is a very knowledgeable and talented attorney. Most individuals do not know how the legal process proceeds, nor do they realize that there are loopholes and other obstacles that can stand in an attorney’s road. Perhaps Mr. Irvin attempted to help your brother, but alas, some are guilty, just as the second attorney confirmed. Do not blame your legal difficulties on the one who is trying to untangle them, most times, we create them ourselves and hope some one will rescue us. I recommend Mr. Irvin without reservation.
Avoid this guy.
My brother, who is in prison, retained Irvin to pursue a legal matter. Irvin collected an advance fee, visited my brother once, made a lot of promises and never returned.
Irvin required payment up front. He is so incompetent it was, actually, hard to pay him. Twice, I tried to send funds to him electronically, but Irvin had given me the wrong transfer numbers. Then I mailed him a check. He said he never got it. I stopped payment on the first check and sent another via 2nd Day UPS. He cashed this check and then claimed my brother had never paid him. (I've got the canceled check, Dan.)
Finally, a second lawyer was able to show my brother he had no case. Bad luck for my brother, but , at least the second lawyer knew his business. Either Irvin knew it and didn't say or he just didn't know. I don't know which is worse.
