Two times really really bad experience at Knead A Massage. OK, my husband bought 5 30-minute massage certificates from Knead a Massage for my b-day. I go to the SLC location at 8 PM one evening and there is this young lady munching her burger (calling me 'hon') at the front desk giving me the papers to fill and casually chatting with me. Well, it turns out that every minute after 8 is eating my massage time but she did not bother telling me that. So, I enter the massage room at 8:05, my massage starts at 8:07 and it ends at 8:23!!! 16 minutes total, whoa! Plus, the little massage I got was really unimpressive (from a young male, I do not remember the name). When I complained about the massage time, the lady tells me to use my certificates combined, so that I get an hour of massage time... whatever. Fast forward couple of weeks, my friends' b-day is coming up, and I decided to use the 4 1/2-hour gift certificates at Park City (after a day of skiing) together with her. I call, I arrange for the massage, give them my certificate numbers, explain that I will use all of them for a total of 2 hour massage time etc., I get a call confirming my arrangements and guess what--when we arrive there they tell me that gift certificates can no longer be combined, the owner now prohibits that, so I have to pay for the second half hour of each massage. I did argue with them (UGLY--for more than 15 min) and in the end they did accept my certificates but I will never ever set my foot in this place again. The massage (from Mark) at Park City was way better than at Salt Lake... But as the previous poster mentioned the place is sort of noisy and far from cozy. I do like massages and this was my worst (times 2) experience in the Salt Lake area for the 5 years I lived here.
affordable massage but ask for a room in the back. My wife and I had 90 minute massages at the Park City location. For $75, this was less expensive than some places charge for a 50 minute massage. My wife said her massage was the best she'd ever had. Unfortunately we can't remember the name of the massage therapist. My massage was good. But the location is in a strip mall and very small. I could here people coming and going, and talking in the reception area. I found it difficult to relax completely due to the noise. My wife didn't have this problem because her room was farther back.
