I received a call from a Lisa, from customer service ("as a courtesty") to inform me that my April payment had not be received. I told her that the payment had been mailed on April 4, 2010. I told her that I would check with my bank to see if the check has cleared. I called Lisa back and told her that the check has not cleared and that I would do a stopped payment on the check. I would send another check for April payment along with the May payment. I ask if there will be a late fee. She said yes and that there was nothing she could do about it. I asked to speak to someone else who could. She told me that they could do it either and she would not let me talk to anyone else. I told her it was not my fault that the payment has not been received as I mailed it 4/4/2012. She was very rude. Since she would not let me talk anyone else. I am having my account refinanced through my credit union (a place that appreciates its' customer) I would not recommend the company to ANYONE!!!!
Do not use them!1 Contractors beware. This is a ripoff !! the zero interest plans are not true. The contractor is forced to include the rate in the price of the project. The contractor is charged the fee and they pass it on to you. The current rate is about 18%. Do not use them or any contractor with them. If a contractor does not push customers to them for the "no interest " (really 18%) deals they terminate the relationship with the contractor. Do not use this company unless you want to pay more than it is worth.
They say 0% interest for 1 year IT'S A LIE. We had rebath redo our bathroom last year and we applied for a loan half of the total amount of the job. It was $2300. Rebath had enerbank give us a loan for $2300 with zero % interest. So we did go with the remodeling. At the start of the loan, we got a payment book with the dates and the amount to pay dated September 2011. The loan was done in September 2010 and we didn't get anything from them until December 2010. I made the first payment of $500 on Dec. 12, 2010. Check # 164. Next payment was January 7, 2011 for $300 check # 165. Then the next payment was February 4, 2011 for $500 check # 168 and then on February 21, 2011 for $500 check # 169 and the last payment was on March 8th, 2011 for $500 check # 171. Add it all up = $2300. Mind you during the time that we were making these payments, NOT and EMAIL or SNAIL MAIL from ENERBANK. So we figured since I can see it online and it shows that it's paid off, maybe it's already done. Today came, SEPTEMBER 12, 2011. We got a letter from them stating that we owe them account balance of $243.60. They want us to pay a monthly amount of $67.74. They said that the DUE DATE was 7/7/2014.. This is Just crazy.... Here's the letter that they sent us.... "Our records indicate that you entered into a Same as Cash loan agreement on 9-7-2010. After reviewing our records, it appears that we have not received the full principal balance on or before the same as Cash due date of 9/7/11. As stated in your note and disclosure, your loan is now a fixed rate installment loan that requires a minimum payment that is due every month as stated above. If you have any questions, please call our customer service department at 1-888-390-1220."
Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. Rude, and ignorant..
We all have different situations we deal with. I have been doing business with EnerBank USA for approximately 2 years. The customer service department is very rude, ignorant and unforgiving to customers. In my opinion, there is 1 particular department, where the customer service reps are very rude and ignorant to customers, and guess what they get away with it because the manager does the same. Try escalating to the manager and he is just as rude and you have no way of escalating further. I was even hung up on during multiple telephone conversations. What happened to EXCELLENT Customer Service and Satisfaction, well, I think their Moto, is be as unprofessional as you would like because we don't care about the customer!
With the economy in the situation it is in, these people should be thankful they have a job. But they have NO right, to belittle the customer! Go ahead deal with EnerBank and get the same RUDE service I have experienced.
