Best dive bar around. This is my favorite bar to go to. I love dives! Is it well-lit? No. Is there loud music playing? No. Is the average age of the people there under 40? No. Do you see the same people there no matter how infrequently you go? Yes.

This is the greatest place to have a great time on a weeknight--except for Tuesdays when they have an event and bring in tons of people. The bartender is spectacular--totally rad guy. Drinks are cheap, too.

I can't say enough good things about this bar. It will be my favorite place to go until I leave SLC.

love this bar. every time I go there, the bartender greets me, even dropping his smoke and running not walking running in to help my friends and i. its just a chill little bar where you can go relax. wish the swamp coolers worked a little better but hey cant have it all! cheap drinks, funny entertaining staff, i just avoid tues nights cause its tooo busy and everyone there is 21 or 22, and i dont like rap music.

SameOldSameOldCocaineHookUp. If you like being insulted by the "entertainment", being ripped off, or if you want to score cocaine, go there. It used to be a pretty good place to go, but has spiraled into a dump. Sunday Night has Chrys Nikas playing the same old covers he's been doing for a lifetime and still uses cheat sheets. On the surface he seems to be a good guitarist, but there is something important missing: Soul. Being addicted to crack will do that to a person. Former management banned him from the place for insulting the customers, now he's there every week. Go Figure.

rude staff, lame crowd. The VFW used to be a lot of fun. The crowd there lately has become very lame and into things besides alcohol. On Karaoke night, girl after girl insists on singing some kind of love song that makes you want to run out of the bar screaming. The staff is rude and only interested in serving their friends.
