Crazy Buffet

Great Variety

My family and I really like Crazy Buffet. We like the diverse variety. They have Chinese, Polynesian, American and Mexican cuisine. The seafood tastes pretty fresh. They have lots of big shrimp and crab legs. There's a big selection of fruits and vegetables. The staff is friendly. We love the variety the most and the food tastes a lot better than majority of the ethnic buffets that I've been to.

Avoid always ...

This is a review of the "Crazy Buffet 2" (not listed on City Search yet) located next to K-Mart off 5400 S and Bangerter.

We were excited to try a new buffet. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was decent. However, the food was awful. There was plenty of selection--but the food tasted like it was all cooked in the same vat of grease. From the fish, to the chicken, to the octopus, to the potatoes, they all tasted about the same.

The presence of sushi was a surprise, but I doubt the chefs ever went to sushi school. I was asked what I wanted, and the chef made it for me right there. It was edible, but certainly not good.

My wife and I both felt sick (we think from all the grease) afterwards. We would not recommend this place to anyone.
