Avoid the Foothill Location. The food was pretty good if you don't mind having chewed-up gum put in your salsa. My wife went to the Foothill Location and one of the employees was flirting with her and told her he paid for her food. When she arrived home, she discovered a used piece of gum. When I called the location, the manager acted unsurprised and didn't seem inclined to fire this %&@#!

Best Mexican Grill. I have eaten at Costa Vida and Bajio and Cafe Rio and by far Costa Vida had the best food. I recently moved from up north and started eating at the one in Layton and now there is three in the salt lake valley and they all out do any mexican grill I have tried. I love the food and eat there more than I eat anywhere else. My daughter doesn't like mexican food too much but she eats almost a whole burrito from Costa Vida. We will always eat there

Terrific Atmosphere. Costa Vida is a family favorite. It provides great food, a fun surfing atmosphere, fast service, and an overall good experience.

I especially like the sweet pork burrito and salad. If you haven't tried it out...you're missing out!

Awesome food and great service!. I love Costa Vida. Their food is awesome -- especially the Big Kahuna Burritos (I recommend it with Sweet Pork!) The aumbiance (sp?) is great and the service was fast and friendly. Thumbs up!

Best Fresh Mexican Around. When I first walked into Costa Vida I thought, "You've done this before." At first glance, you would think Costa Vida is just another Fresh Mexican restaurant, but Costa Vida offers a great atmosphere and food to match. I enjoyed the interaction with the employees and my ability to custom make my order. I have been back several times and rarely eat Mexican anywhere else.
