Took my wife to Joe's for New Years
Eve, what an expensive dissapointment. Spent 65.00 on cold oversalted food. The food took 35 minutes to reach our table, and we waited an additional 7 minutes for plates and utinsels. I will never, ever go there again. I left hungry, but in this case tiny portions were fine, because the food was not good! Amazing to me that this place stays in business.

Small portions, over-salted fries, nasty food, lousy wait staff.
I visited Joe's Crab Shack with my son last Thursday. It was about 1:30 in the afternoon. The place was dead (only one elderly couple besides the two of us). Got seated right away. Took the waiter forever to get us a menu. We ordered the kid's menu pizza & fries, and I had a crab cake sandwich. Food took about 20 minutes to arrive. When it did, the fries were LOADED with salt and nearly inedible. The "pizza" was TINY and dry. My son wanted another glass of milk, so we told the waiter. He proceeded to forget after we'd asked 3 times, but remembered to bring us the check. Joe's was excellent when it first opened, but we'll never visit there again. The food is cold, nasty and over-salted. The wait staff was too busy "hiding" in the back of the restaurant talking, and the window blinds were NASTY and filthy. Never again....
