My daughter and I went to the 90th South location. Nothing was priced. Nothing! My salesman told me they were in 'transition' and all prices were removed to be re-priced. He had to check the price for each sample I was interested in, even the remnants were not priced. So frustrating for me. The next day, my husband went into the store. We felt like we were given the run around to see how much we were willing to spend. Needless to say, we purchased carpet at a different business. Don't waste your time with Carpet Giant.
Wow....I live out of town and have a rental there needing carpet. Thank you for preventing me to make a HUGE mistake. Living out of town and managing a rental, thats all I need is for someone to not stand by what they say. In this day in age, our word is really all we have and sounds like Carpet Giants word is worth a dollar two forty seven...virtually nothing. Thank you!
The Consumer Protection Agency will be alerted as to your advertising and promoting a wood floor and showing samples of it to customers and then delivering something quite different. I would hate to have someone else ever go through what I have. I wish I had read all of your negative reviews before ever agreeing to buy any product from you. The horror stories others describes certainly matches my own experience.
The worst customer services ever. I almost never give reviews but their customer services is so bad I had to. buy your flooring needs somewhere else. they do not back up their flooring. and will give you the run around. just go some where else.GET WARRANTY IN WRITING
Just a word of advice... NEVER EVER EVER do business with this company. WORST company I have ever dealt with in my entire life!! They have a bunch of inconsiderate liars working for them. They just want your money and to screw you over anyway that they can. DON"T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID BY PURCHASING CARPET FROM THESE ASS HOLES!!! I wish someone would have warned me so here I am warning all of you
Terrible company! – I worked for these people and have close friend who worked for them too. Not only are they theives, they are liars. The will go back on their word with warranties, payments, and even charge you for things that are not real and pocket the money. Beware of the Carpet Giants AND the regional manager at Prosource. They will cheat you. As for employment, DO NOT work here. Ever. They will take away your bonuses, and even steal your spiffs for sales. Not only that, but they treat their employees with the utmost disrespect and morale is awful because the owner gives all the benefits to his kids whether or not they're employed by the company. Please. Dont support this family. They are awful people and unfortunately this can hurt the employees. Dont trust them and dont get them any richer.
DONT EVEN BOTHER – AWFUL customer service. Run away, Run away, Run away. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.
BUYER BEWARE - GET WARRANTY IN WRITING – BUYER BEWARE!!...DON'T LISTEN TO ANY DISCUSSIONS REGARDING ANY WARRANTIES. GET ALL WRITTEN WARRANTIES FIRST, WITH SIGNATURES. WE MADE THE MISTAKE OF LISTENING TO THE "SALESMAN" AND SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER TO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY WAS REALLY 120 DAYS!!....AND WE ONLY HAD A COPY OF THE SIGNED RECEIPT. WE ARE LEFT WITH $1,800.00 CARPET, 10 MONTHS OLD, THAT WILL HAVE TO BE RIPPED OUT AND REPLACED. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND RESEARCH LOCALLY ON LINE. GET ESTIMATES, IN WRITING. BE SURE THE INSTALLER IS QUALIFIED. SHOP AROUND, DON'T LISTEN TO ANY TV ADS....DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST!!...WE WISHED WE DID....
Horrible Service, Lies and Deceit – I had just a horrible exeperience with Carpet One. They came out gave us a bid on carpet and said they would get back to us on tile the next day. A week later, I called and they said, oops and would get back to us the next Monday. They failed to get back to me. One of my carpets was set to arrive in two weeks, even though they said they could have it installed in ten days and the other was backordered. When they failed to get back to me again on the tile, I tried to cancel the whole order. Now even though they didn't meet their contract requirements, they said there would be a 20 or 25% cancellation fee. I spoke with the managerand he said oh, yeah, they wanted to please but since they had a signed contract, he couldn't do anything on the carpet which wasn't on backorder so three weeks after they were supposed to have installed it, they schedule to come. His excuse on the problem with the tile? Well, I didn't have a contract--the problem with the carpet, I didn. I would recommend no one go here as customer service doesn't appear to mean anything to this company. And if you try to get carpet, they will not meet their commitments but will hold you to a one way contract!!!!!!!!!!!!
