HCG protocol dinners. I hate fish and was hoping that these guys would have a recipe or two that would make it so I could add fish into my HCG menu, and they did! The fish tacos don't taste like fish at all and I even liked the lemon dill talapia and french braised cucumbers! I am picking up a few new things to try this week. It makes my life so much easier to have a few meals a week ready to go!

A great stress reliever. I tried Dinner Market for the first time in August 2009, well after these other reviewers tested "My Girlfriend's Kitchen." I think things must have changed since the shift in structure. Now you don't go assemble the meals, they do it for you.

I bought 6 meals for $66. Parisian Pork Chops, Bali Hai Chicken and Bacon Wrapped Burgers were fantastic. Paradise Slow Cooked Beef was decent. We didn't love the Golden Sunrise Apricot Chicken, but it was edible. We'll be having Tilapia Piccata tonight, so I can't rate it yet.

At any rate, these meals saved me menu planning, grocery shopping, and prep time. Since everything is already chopped, etc., you just throw it in the pan and you've got dinner. My hubby actually thought a couple things were homemade!

You can buy just one meal at a time (average: $11 to serve 3 and $22 to serve 6), so it's a pretty low risk to try it out. Be warned, though: When they say "serves 3," it really only serves three. A pork chop dish would have exactly 3 pork chops, so be sure to plan your sides so you won't leave the table hungry. These will basically take care of a protein and starch for you, but you gotta handle your own veggies.
