Worst place to attend a concert in SLC.
We purchased tickets online weeks in advance, yet had to stand in a line for over an hour that wrapped around SEVERAL city blocks with everyone who didn't purchase tickets, purchased tickets or had tickets at Will Call. We missed the whole opening act because they don't care and are inefficient with managing their customers.
This hell-hole in a wall venue has one bathroom that you have to push your way through a mosh pit crowd to get to.
The staff doesn't believe in customer service. Nothing about this place is about YOUR experience, it is about them making a buck.
The bar "waitress" doesn't take your drink order and serve it to you, she just strolls around and picks up your empty glass after YOU have gone and stood in line to get your own drink.
We will never go to this venue again.
Great Shows, Terrible Venue. Security is terrible at this venue. Overly testosterone filled. However, the show I went to itself was great. A word of warning: Leave those expensive digital cameras at home, they will get confiscated in the name of security.
Crazy. There is no crowd control at all, I love that. But if you don't wanna get your face busted in the mosh, stand back. If you're ready for a crazy time, this is the place for you.
Great Bands. Dark, Damp, and no crowd control. Adults have the worst "seats" in the house but pay the most for crappy drinks only to hang behind a visual barrier, and fight for space. I don't know how it is that "In The Venue" is getting all of these left field artist that I love. I can see that even the artists hate to play there.
