What People Are Saying About Home Touch Window Coverings
Make Sure you compare apples to apples
by rallytime1975
Just got our products installed last week and i saw this review and I had to make sure that I posted a reply on this review.
We did alot of shopping around, we meet Home Touch over a year ago at a Home and Garden show, and i was pleastanltly suprised that per my request they kept in contact with me.
When we were finally ready to make the purchase we shopped around and found that Home Touch was in the middle of the prices. It was pretty tricky, with purchasing Silhouettes and VIgnettes for my home, I found that prices varied by the fabric, so once we finally picked the right fabric then i was able to compare corectly...maybe this is what happened to you.
I have found that Home Touch is very perfessional from the office to the Sales to the Installer. I never felt on bit of pressure and a HIGH risk company.
I would recommend Home Touch to my family and friends. I actually have 3 people at work that has used Home Touch and just saw my aunt has as well.
Thanks Home Touch for your hard work, we for sure love our new window coverings!!

Over-priced

Wow! This place is very expensive! I looked around just to get some quotes for our recently finished basement. This place was nearly twice as much as the next highest bid for the exact same Hunter Douglas product with the same warranties. When I asked why it was so expensive the salesman said "we offer better customer service." Sorry... I'm not going to pay hundreds of extra dollars for a smile. As long as my new blinds look great and the job is done on time, I'm happy (and I am happy by the way, with my new vignettes!!!). I would recommend looking around town before you buy anything from Home Touch. Also, even though I told them I was going with another company, their telemarketers never fail to call me every other day around dinner time.
- Pros: Friendly and knowlegeable
- Cons: Expensive, use telemarketing after you show interest
Excellent Service and Quality

We just moved to town and we were in the market for serveral things for my home. One of our items was window coverings. The great thing about this I used to sell them back 20 years ago. We visited there showroom and we were pleasatally suprised with the attention we recieved from Kim in the office. She was very helpfull and knew enough to help us. She made us aware that she was not the sales person but she was able to answer most of our questions. We scheudled a time for Cory to come out, he was running a little late but he called to let us know, very nice. The way he handled himself and his product knowledge we felt very comfortable and at ease. We placed the order with him that night. He was very efficent and helped us to feel at ease that they will meet what they say they will.
The peoducts showed up a little late, but thanks to Kim she notified us that the product was on back order. The date she told us was only about 5 days past the time frame quoted. We recieved a call about a week later to let us know that products came in and we scheudled an install time.
Matt there installer showed up about in the middle of the time block that we were giving the day before, he was quiet but you could tell he knew exactally what he was doing.
My overall impresson was customer service. Every person we came across seemed to enjoy ther job and the company they worked for.
I have been in retai lfor 30+ years and this company does understand customer service and they present themselves very perfessional. The quality was better than i remember the last time we purchased. I would higly recommend this company.
- Pros: Quality, Perfessional, On Time
- Cons: WIsh i would have bought more to get more money back from Hunter Douglas
