Editorial Review for Eggs in the City – by Ana Ventura
In Short
This neighborhood coffee shop and diner is inviting and comfortable with large windows, cozy booths, and an outdoor patio. The food is simple but tasty, offering up a traditional menu of bacon and eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, and fresh bakery items. Many selections are also vegetarian friendly, and can be specially made to suit even the pickiest of palettes.

Good lord people. Did you not see that waitress with the bad bouffante and too many tats being terrible to the other servers in the back of the restaurant, and then adopting an entirely fake cheery, squeaky voice moments later with a customer? And she's only nice to the customers she thinks are going to tip well - the rest she treats like dirt.. Eggs are also not supposed to be watery. Skip this joint. It is not worth it.

Went for lunch today. The atmosphere was very sunny and indoor/outdoor seating. The menu offers breakfast (omelets, breakfast burritos, I noticed biscuits & gravy, but did not try). Had a veggie sandwich; it was pretty good, better than most, but not the best. Wasn't impressed with the bread. Breakfast potatoes were also above average, some crispy, some potatoey. Boyfriend had a burger, wasn't too big and the bread was soft (I have no opinions on that one, just an observation.) I will definitely try a Saturday/Sunday brunch. Worth going back.
