VERY BEST PET CARE!!. If you are serious about your pet's health and the care they receive-I would certainly visit the vets at Cottonwood Animal Hospital. They have given my pets incredible care since 1997. Thanks Cotttonwood Animal Hospital!
Emergency Area. All i can say is they care more about money than the pets they treat. i took my dog in as soon as she showed signs of being sick, it was after hours and my reg. vet was closed but sends people here. The dog was diagnosed with Parvo. They wanted 1100 dollars for the start of treatment, $600 up front there and then. Of course i didnt have it. So $300 dollars later i had fluid and shot to threat her at home. At home i have 3 8 week old puppie, who went to my vet the next day, got shots, which was to late as they were exposed. On chrismas eve, the first dog got a clean bill of health. That night the puppies started showing signs. I call the cottonwood er to see if i could get shot to stop vomiting and antiboitc for them as i already had the fluids...No they said, they had to see them..$78 dollars for an office visit...i asked if i could make payment, as i was out of money..NO they said no money no service...now time is of the most important, and i ask well how much fluid should i give..they wuld not tell me...the day after christmas i was at the vets office as they opened. got the shots and info but he was a pretty sick dog by then. Tonight at 10:47 he died, I truly believe that if he got the treatment he needed he would be alive....they are money grubbers.
Customer Service was Disappointing.
I took my 12 year old American Eskimo here because she was ill and obviously dying. I would have taken her to her regular Vet (River Woods Pet Hospital in Provo) but they weren't open.
After about 5 hours of tests and me bawling my eyes out the doctor helped me make the decision to put her down.
They were closing when we made the decision, but the doctor told me even though he was leaving, they have a staff that stays later for this type of thing, and they would help me the rest of the way.
I requested to have some alone time with her before they came in to euthanize her. Every five minutes a man from the after hours staff would pop his head in the room while chewing a cookie of some sort, and while chomping down he would ask "if i was ready (chew chew chew)". Then when I would say no, he would go into the hall and loudly laugh about his day along with his coworkers. It made a painful situation much more difficult.
I regret taking my poor dog there. There are Veterinarians who will perform this procedure in your home. If I knew that then I could have saved myself the extra grief.
Absolutely the Best Care!!.
My 10yr old Neapolitan Mastiff fractured his leg early on a Sunday morning, I was an emotional wreck and Cottonwood Animal Hospital couldn't have handled it better!
Dr. Law is an amazing man and even more incredible surgeon! He understood the risks generally associated with Neapolitans and medication (which is RARE) and talked me through everything. His follow-up was personal and very thorough. When my Neapolitan showed signs of stress entering the hospital for follow-ups, he met us outside and did follow-ups under a tree on the lawn.
We are so grateful for their care and can't recommend them enough!!
Worst vet I've ever met!. This woman shouldn't even be practicing on a rodent, let alone a dog. I heard her yelling and screaming fromthe front when I was filling out paperwork. She is horrible and needs to have her license taken away. Yuck!
