Cold Food
by THnWJ at Citysearch
Either the crew at Pat's were off their game last Saturday or that place is a terrible disappointment. While the portion served was great, it arrived room temperature. Cold BBQ? That's what I though. The potatoes were lukewarm, thanks to the hot gravy it was edible. The BBQ sauce had a great taste, though thin and runny. I ended up with BBQ soup at the bottom of my plate. I did not care for the cramped picnic table seating. God forbid someone have a hip or weight problem.
- Pros: Big portions, live band
- Cons: Cold food, runny bbq sauce, terrible seating, view of kitchn
You can do better
by dickel at Citysearch
Jambalaya was a weak interpretation. Rice was clumpy and undercooked.
The beef brisket tasted more like salty corned beef than smoked brisket. I have had better ribs.
Went there to eat bbq and there just happened to be a band. I shared a plate of food with my husband, and was told at the cashier's station that we would have to each pay a cover charge of $5.00 to the band. That extra $10.00 we were not informed of until after our meal. We will never go to pat's again. There are better bbq joints in town.
