My favorite part of Salt Lake. I love Estilo. They are very eccentric and boisterous and hip. I found them by accident when I needed my nails done and walked in. Rena, (she is from the Netherlands) took one look at me and said, “Juan can help you with your hair.” Juan is the hair stylist. He is from Mexico City. When he says your name, you flutter your eyelashes. It is an automatic response. It’s like sneezing when you are around dust.

Juan gave me an amazing cut, and Rena fixed my eyebrows. I left feeling like a million bucks and received more compliments than I ever have.

Since then, when I am in town and feeling lonely and unfulfilled, I go to the salon. When I leave, I look incredible, feel incredible, and know I could rule the world if I didn’t have to take care of a bunch of ungrateful kids.

Going to Estilo is one of my favorite things to do whenever I visit Salt Lake. I have been going there for about five years now and love it more each time. I am trying to get them to move to Montana, but so far it isn't happening.

Amazing Transformation. I had been wanting to change my look for some time, and was told to trust NO ONE but Juan!! I am so glad that I listened!! I walked into the salon a little over a year ago with short blonde hair, and walked out with long beautiful brunette hair!! I LOVED my new look! The color and the extensions were all-around fantastic!! Everywhere I went, people would comment on my hair!!! And to go along with my fabulous new look, I asked Rina to shape my brows.....simply amazing!! When you are at the salon, they make you feel like you are the only one in the room!! Very attentive, and friendly! They just have a way of knowing what will look great on you!! I have since been a loyal client, and refuse to let anyone besides Juan touch my hair, and Rina my brows!! Its even fun to go in and have Juan style your hair for a special night on the town, or if you just want to feel a little pampered! Juan, Rina, Soraya and Britt are now considered part of my family!! I LOVE, LOVE this salon! Try it out, and you will be in love too!!

Estilo… Simply Amazing!. Juan and Rina, not only are they amazing at what they do, but they become family. I have been a loyal client of Estilo for over three years and would never leave! I travel and receive compliments all over the United States, and everyone wants to come to Utah to have Juan do their hair. Before going to Juan, I never found a hairstyle that fit me and that I fell in love with, but Juan has a talent for determining the look that’s right for you. Rina is truly talented at shaping eyebrows… she’s simply amazing! I highly recommend this salon! I have never walked out disappointed!

The Best Salon In Utah. I work in television. My hair is a huge part of my job...and I have difficult hair.

Course...kinky... and naturally dark...with lots of cowlicks. Juan has managed to make it long, blonde, smooth and beautiful. I get compliments daily.

Rina does my brows...her technique is unbelievable...she manages to give you a mini facelift just in the way she shapes your brow and opens up your face.

These two are the best in the business and have consistently challenged me to keep my look current while still looking elegant and polished.

I have tried dozens of salons and this is hands down the best! I've been a loyal customer for 3 plus years...and plan to keep it that way.

You won't be disappointed.

Loved It!. I have NEVER walked out of an appointment without that little bit of disappointment. Juan is AMAZING! He was able to take my sad excuse of an explanation and turn my hair into exactly what I wanted. I have been to several salons and stylists over the years and have never been as satisfied as I was with them. The vibe alone is something that’s hard to find in Salt Lake but the staff and services are well worth it! I was impressed in the amount of personal attention I felt from the moment I walked in the door. Juan is by far the best stylist I’ve had! He took the time to really work with me and understand what I wanted. I also got my brows done (who knew what a difference it makes) thanks Rina! Overall a great experience! And will be taking my mom for her birthday!

mood elevator. I love going to have my hair done by Juan. He is creative, not afraid to try anything new and open to suggestions. Rina is the best at doing everything she puts her hands on! I know quite a few people that go to Rina to do their brows and nobody has ever had a bad experience. If you want to know what is new..Estilo is the place to go. Rina and Juan are so far ahead of their time..its amazing. They have a good eye for what will be hot and what people here in Salt Lake will like. I travel quite a bit and when i shop around, I see stuff that Estilo was already selling a year...or more... ago. After having spend some time in their salon, you will leave feeling like a million bucks and feeling you can take on the world!

Worst Salon Ever. I would not recommend this Salon to ANY ONE, first of all they are WAY over price for the work they do, infact everyone dose not pay the same price, Juan picks the price you pay by the size of your wedding ring, or the brand of purse you carry. You will never get the same color each time you go, you get what ever color. and the quality of work is not that good, they act like they can charge the amount you pay for in a up scale Salon in New York or LA and trust me they are not on the same level not even close they think they are, And as for there so called Items they sale in there salon such as jewlery,clothing, ear rings, what ever... they wear them first then sale them to you the customers. they are truly trailer trash people. so good luck to you if you go... plan on paying a ton of money for horrible work, which they come across as desperate trying to sale you everything under the sun in the Salon. which is to way over priced. The reception person, she was very rude.

Estilo Hair and Brow Salon is incredible!. My wife went to Estilo for the first time about a month ago, they gave her a complete makeover. I was a little nervous as they started but when they finished she was BEAUTIFUL! WOW! They did little things with her brows and hair color that made such a huge difference. She looks incredible! Now I know why they are so highly recommended, there is a big difference between your average stylist and a professional like Juan, he is so good at what he does. He is absolutely an ARTIST. I will never let my wife go anywhere else.

Don't Bother !!!. No star rating would be more like it !!!! The receptionist was so very rude. I was considering a salon here in Salt Lake City, but the level of professionalism is totally lacking, it's just not worth my time or yours !!

I told her I was considering a change, she didn't even offer to tell me what they offer , she just said "When do you want it" and then asked me for my credit card. I gave her my card . When I asked her why she wanted it she said that if I didn't cancel 24 hours before my appt. it would be charged.I can understand not wanting to waste your time on someone who doesn't show up, but could a salon be more assuming? I happen to know they do not offer a guarantee if a client does not like their service. If you want to be treated rudely, be my guest to go there....however, they are not a true salon when they do not treat their potential clients with respect. I guess it doesn't matter, they rarely seem to be open.

Best color and cut EVER. My daughter recommended Juan to me. He spent ten minutes playing with my hair and discussing color and asking me a ton of questions. He had great recommendations and suggestions that no other stylists had offered. He did things with my color that were new to me and gave me the best cut I've had since moving to SLC a year ago. I came away happy and looking 10 years younger. I stopped in today to show him my hair which I'd rolled out of bed with, messed around with some molding putty and nothing else. He was thrilled to see how happy I was and what could do with it. He was also happy how good the color was looking. I am so pleased with the results and having so much fun with my new look, which my husband loves by the way.

Step two is growing out my brows so Rina can do them. She did my daughter's and did the most amazing styling and shaping...absolute perfection. What an artist!

Estilo is a fabulous salon worth the extra money you'll pay. Juan and Rino and fun and funky and totally down to earth. They have a new loyal customer!
