Kat Ledford and Katherine are the most amazing!!! Kat Ledford is truly the best stylist I have ever found! I've been going to her for over a year now - which is amazing considering before her, I had never found a stylist outside of the ones in my family that I have ever gone to consistently. I trust her so much that I just let her "do her thing". I have never been comfortable letting anyone do that. She knows my style and never tries to get me to do something I'm not comfortable with. She cuts and colors my hair to perfection. Every time I leave the salon - I feel amazing and can't wait for my next visit. I could go on forever about how much I love this girl! Katherine also gives awesome facials. Unlike most, she never leaves the room to let the masks sit, instead she gives great massages and make the whole experience complete. My skin has never looked better!

Ann is truly the BEST in SLC

I have tried a number of salons around Salt Lake, I have yet to find someone do my hair as well as Ann. I am very picky when it comes to my hair and Ann sat and listened to exactly what I wanted and then cut it to perfection. She is a professional in every sense of the word. I will continue going back to Ann not only because I loved my haircut but because she is the BEST!!!

Kat Ledford at Salon O is a very talented stylist who is not only extremely knowledgeable in fashionable and unique cuts and colorings, but in the chemistry and science behind it all too, which makes all the difference in an excellent cut and dye job.

She has brilliantly taken me from the boring brown color I walked in with when we first met to a gorgeous strawberry blonde, then through a careful process to a true blonde, all the while managing my expectations perfectly and keeping my hair healthy, and more recently to a rich dark brown.

I've also always thought that I'd been cursed with eternally stick straight hair, but Kat showed me the right styling and products to make it curly and wavy incredibly easily!

Each time I come in is an awesome experience as Kat works with me and my ideas to come up with an amazing outcome, and she's so much fun the whole time too! I truly look forward to my visits with Kat Ledford at Salon O!

I left lunatic fringe a couple of years ago just to have amy continue to do my hair. I don't trust anyone else to touch my hair. I have never had a problem with the staff and the salon is nice and professional. They also offer wine which is a plus! yes it is expensive, but definitely worth it. Go to super cuts if you don't want to pay for a professional.

Not worth the price I paid!

I decided to try Salon O after I read all the positive reviews because my own hairstylist was out of town and I needed a haircut for an event. I made an appointment with Ann (she seemed more experienced compared to others). She was very nice and good at what she did BUT I really didnt think the haircut I got was worth $80 (based on habit I also put down $10 tip as well which I totally regret, so total was $90). I even felt she left my edges half done since her next customer had already arrived and then I had to tell her to trim them since they looked so bulky and not something an experienced hairstylist would do! so, all and all it was just OK and nothing special and definitly not worth the $90 I paid. so I left unhappy and I regret that I spent that much money and time on something that was not worth more than what they do in joint salons.

The salon itself is just your average to somehow nice salon and again nothing special about it, there are many other similar or even better salons in the city, it even smelled like a bleach/cleaning chemicals in there. So, I went back to my own hairstylist who charges a little less but I absolutely love the haircut I get and get many many more compliments and the salon is way nicer. I even had to go to him couple of weeks after to trim the edges so I had to pay something else to repair what Ann had done.

I think when a salon has this many consistent 5 star ratings and asks its customers to do it or in their own language "rave about it", should keep in mind that it also needs to keep up with the expectations that comes with it.!
