Hotels >Wildflowers Bed & Breakfast
Just like Grandma's Home. Our reservation (a must) was for our 6th Wedding Anniversary. The business sign wasn't big, we rang the bell and she immediately welcomed us. Walking up the stairs (to our room) reminded me of grandpa's steep ones that made me scared as a little girl. She gave us our key, explained about our private entrance, breakfast (7-9 am) and check out time 11am. We love old homes, the antique furniture (meaning lady's dressing table), cast iron pedestal sinks and cotton lace bedskirt. My head sank into the soft pillows. I enjoyed the wild flowers as my husband smoked- sitting on the benches. The dog likes scratches and the cat leaves you alone. You can hear running water from other rooms but not voices. The other partner paints, displaying throughout the home and are for sale. The two women retired 15 years ago and purchased Bed & Breakfast to keep busy. As explained, I helped myself to more towels. Make sure a room with a claw tub is available for that romantic bubble bath. For breakfast she served: coffee, orange juice, quiche and fresh fruit.
Enjoy a personal touch in this 1891 Victorian home..
This beautiful home is distinguished by its red brick and blue paint exterior. It is located on a quiet, shady street lined with trees. Although it's not far from Salt Lake's upbeat downtown scene, it maintains an atmosphere of tranquility. Visitors come here to relax and rejuvenate amid the tasteful and elegant ambience created by the inn's friendly proprietors.
The home features five rooms, all of which are individually appointed. The graceful Victorian architecture is combined perfectly with period furnishings. One suite takes up the entire third floor and includes a full kitchen. The inn is known for its incredible gourmet breakfasts.
