Dont get a room there! If your stupid enough to take a room, stay away from the maintenence man he's a lier, thief and scammer. He steals money from the office and somebody else gets blamed for it.He has the keys to all the rooms so he can go in your room if your not there and take what he wants so he can sell it to buy drugs. But the owner is greedy and money hungry himself so what can you expect?
wow let me tell you I use to work here and this place is not what i would call a nice hotel.I had bed bugs in my room which the bed spread was suposedly clean which wasnt and they didnt give me any clean ones, lets not meantion the cockroaches that were in the shower. To try and get maintance wow thats a big joke, I had mold growing in the walls and floors of my room i was paying rent for which was dumb I should have gotten a refund for. My advice DONT STAY HERE NOT A SMART IDEA GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Was kicked out for having an American flag in the window...I am a veteran, using a fry pan in the room, was charged for a broken blind (I didn't break) and refused any refund after only staying a few days paying weekly rent. This place is a joke. The owner has a temper and short fuse. I suggest that any one thinking about renting here, RUN, RUN, RUN!!
I;ll Never Go Back!.
My friend and I stayed for one night. When I went to the office the next morning to check out and get my deposit the manager told me to wait till she went and checked the room. When she came back she said there was a washcloth missing and I wouldn't get my deposit back and she was going to call the police. Then she told me not to come back they didn't "want our kind there anyway"
Well believe me I'm not going back. Also the sign in the office says no pets allowed and they wouldn't let me have my little dog yet there are guests there who have pets.
Run Like a Castopo. The rooms are a little cheaper than most motels but the manager is TOTALLY RUDE. She should be a sergeant in the Army. There are NO PETS ALLOWED on the property not even service animals however there is a guest staying here who has a dog. She accused my husband and I of wrapping up our dog and sneaking it in the room! Not true. We almost got kicked out for that. I say there are plenty of other motels around, dont stay here! There is no maid service and your only allowed 2 rolls of toilet paper a week. Getting clean towels and sheets are a joke. I had to wash my own.
Last Place On The Left.
We located this temporary room situation for a family member. You would want to keep staying here, temporary. It's inexpensive and affordable for those folks who have just gotten out of jail and need a place to land.
The walls were filthy with fingerprints, the carpet was very dirty and was soaking wet on one side of the bed. Not sure if a pipe broke or someone spilled an entire bucket. The TV did not have a remote. There was a small fridge and microwave that were functional. I can not comment on any bedbugs as in a previous review but I wouldn't doubt this place has a problem with some or many bugs. The smell in the room was not pleasant. Mixture of mold, body odor, smoking, etc.
For some individuals in life, this may be their home, so I hate to condemn this place all together. I can only relay my experience.
Now the nicer things:
The bathroom was updated and nice with a walk-in shower. The folks at the front desk are extremely nice and accommodating. They could easily make friends and made one fell welcome. There is a great Mexican restaurant next door which I probably would never had ventured to had it not been the need to place my family in this motel.
The motel is next to a bus stop. Just have to cross the road. It is also right next to the freeway if you are a traveler and hate to drive through a city to get anywhere. The area is in a diverse minority populated area so if you like being in a melting pot, you will feel comfortable. Albeit this part of town is lower socio-economic, but nice friendly people.
Not the best.
Under new ownership, it does appear that they are attempting to improve the site.
But there are many things that need improvement: many broken windows; the plumbing needs major overall; no visible fire extinguishers; and the features offered in their advertising is lacking.
For example: called them based on their print ad, they confirmed an advertised low rate of $29 per night, but on check-in was advised that that rate is for a limited number of rooms and was charged a much higher rate.
Warning! -- Despite ads online and in the phone book, they do not take checks or the Discover Card.
There is no housekeeping offered during stay and considering that a full kitchen is offered, they do not provide the basics things needed to prepare or enjoy a meal.
There seem to be a Pest investation, suffered a variety of bites - most from unseen pests.
The staff is a bit of a "Motley Crew".
Can be extremely noisy - despite the postings warning against it and late night visitors.
Two positive things, that for extended stays, there are three grocery stores nearby and their onsite laundry is cheap [$1 Wash/$1 Dry]
Editorial Review. Affordable rooms featuring satellite TV, a microwave and a fride available at daily, weekly and month rates.
