This venue does not meet to standards. First, for a show that was supposed to start at 7pm, they didn't start until 9:30! Then, the venue was so packed, that I question the limit of people allowed into this venue. FINALLY, the main band (and main reason for consumers), began playing after midnight! The people were rude and one even punched me to get closer after the music started. Needless to say, this venue needs their act together prior to inviting a high-profile band to SLC at this particular location. All in all it was waste of time, gas, and cash to see any particular band...even one with a vast reputation. Be Ware of this venue and it's lack of organization!

Parking says free on the site but Beware!. I went to a fashion show there a few weeks ago, and had parked in front of the club. When I was leaving I see that I have a 15$ charge for parking because apparently the lot is owned by another entity.

DUH!

Comfortable. I had left my camera tripod there and even 2 weeks later it was still there. I was so happy it wasn't given away or lost.-- and they refused a tip ! Thanks to Paul at the bar.

Experience Las Vegas-style gaming in the heart of Salt Lake City.. The Scene
Club Vegas features a surprisingly lavish layout that makes the most of its warehouse-like expanse and includes raised floor sections with comfy booths and couches. Craps, blackjack and roulette tables dot the interior, balanced by a spacious dance floor on the far end. A wall decorated with a photographic mural of Salt Lake's skyline gives the club some local flavor. The crowd is a mix of mullet-haired blue-collar types, baseball cap-clad frat boys and shiny-clothed club crawlers, both male and female.

The Draw
Despite its billing as a dance club, "legal" gambling is what makes this place stand out. "Legal," in the Utah sense of the word, means that money is not exchanged on the gaming floor. Your cover charge nets you 50 credits in the form of chips, and the fruits of your gaming labor are exchanged for raffle tickets, which are drawn for prizes (ranging from stereos, DVD players and televisions to vacation packages to Las Vegas) throughout the evening. It's all the real gambling fun with none of the real gambling risk.
