Waste of time. I had scheduled an appointment with debra and she totally flaked... she used the excuse that I didn't call her to "confirm" the appointment. I had a missed call from her earlier that day, but no message. I called her back twice and got no answer... I decided not to leave a message because, well- she didn't either. I gave her a call once my appointment was getting closer and she said she already filled my appointment, she didn't even call to say that she filled it. Then, she said she could do it later that same day in the evening, and I said okay anytime, since it wass the only day I had off work to do it. She proceeded to change her mind and said she couldn't that evening because of family situations.

The point that is very frustrating is- she didn't even bother to leave a message or notify me that it had been canceled. She made it seem like it was my fault for not reconfirming with her. It was a complete waste of my time and my day- the only day I had off, since I work full time. On top of that, she gave me attitude and hung up on me after I said I couldn't do it when it was more convenient for her... rude, upsetting and a waste of time. I decided to schedule and appointment with Kathy. I told her about my situation, asked questions, and she was very helpful with what to expect whereas Debra hadn't even told me what I was to expect and didn't help me in getting familiar with the procedure.

Sure, there are many great reviews on waxing, but its also not very hard to do. Electrolysis requires a more in depth knowledge on things. If you are interested in getting electrolysis, I wouldn't go to Debra.

Beautiful brazilian wax. Debra is fantastic! I just got back from a brazilian wax and I'm so happy with the results. Her place is really clean, she's very friendly (keeps you engaged the whole time so no awkward silence and good distraction from the process), and she is extremely precise. I honestly don't know why she doesn't charge more; she does such a good job but I'm not one to argue with a great deal. Debra lets you know exactly what she's doing, exactly what to expect and I think it only took about 15 minutes. She kept asking if I was doing ok and how I was feeling. I already made my follow up appointment, it was that great. Go see her - you won't be disappointed!

Great Brazilian Wax. I regularly got brazilian waxes from Debra before I got pregnant and I can't wait to go back once baby is born! (they're addicting once you get one). Debra is professional and thorough and her prices are better than anywhere I have seen.

Debra is the best in Salt Lake, or in Utah for that matter!. She does an amazing job! She makes sure that you are well taken care of and comfortable during your wax... and for any type of bikini waxing thats hard to do! So she is very very good at what she does, and very precise. i was very pleased with my experience

The Goddess of Waxing. Debra is extremely well educated. She knows more about skin then anyone I?ve ever been to.

Her facials are something you would expect at a world-class spa. She?s been waxing me for over two years. I actually look forward to my appointments. I know it sounds strange, looking forward to a Brazilian. She?s fast, thorough, CLEAN, and does it with the least amount of discomfort. The wax is barely warmer than body temperature. Because I have extremely sensitive skin, I?ve found that it?s important to shower when I get home.



I?ve never had to wait. She?s always ready for me as soon as I walk through the door. Debra is very professional with her scheduling. If I woke to find my dogs convulsing and dying, I?d cancel everything and rush them to the vet. Wouldn?t you do the same if that happened your pets? I could never hold something like that against her.

Great Place for Backwax!. I've used Debra's several times now and she does a great job on my back and shoulders. She's professional, conversational, and makes the process painless and a joy. It can sometimes be embarrasing for guys to go to a womens shop for a backwax, but Debra makes you feel very comfortable. I recommend her to all my friends.

WORST WAX EVER - ENDED UP IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM!!!. I made an appointment with Debra and got in pretty quickly. I was very excited to go, it had been awhile since my last waxing. I got there about 15 min early and ended up waiting till 15 min after my appointment was set to see her. I was told to undress and lay on the table - after I had done this she commented on how nice my breasts were, I felt this was very inappropriate for the time - I mean she was waxing my hooha. Anyways she was talking to me telling me how she only used the best wax and how great it was for sensitive skin - I have extremely sensitive skin - she was quick and seemed thorough. I paid and as I was paying she set up another appointment for me - I took the card intending to reschedule when I had the chance - left and went to drive home. On the way home I was very uncomfortable and was burning in that area. I got home and immediatly stripped. I had my hubby look and he told me to get dressed and he was taking me to the emergency room. I got there and was told I had 2nd degree burns all over my hooha. Not only was I embarrassed that I had to show my hooha to all those doctors and nurses but I ended up having to have special skin treatments and everything - I have also lost alot of sensation in the area - can barely feel anything. On the date of the next appt that she set for me she called and said that she would not be able to do the waxing because her cat was sick - like I would go back to her anyways after all of the doctor bills and pain I have gone through. I would NOT reccommend this woman to anyone. You are better off with Kathy's Electrolosis.

Her cat got sick. I made an appointment five weeks in advance, and when I got to the place, it was locked up and lights were off. I tried calling, but there was no answer. I went next door to Skin Bliss and was able to get in later that afternoon. About 6 hours after my appointment, Debra called me back and told me she was sorry she missed the appointment, but her cat got sick and she had to take it to the vet. What kind of an excuse is that? I would definitely recommend Skin Bliss though.

Best Wax. She is the BEST. Hands down! (I was a little skeptical at first because she was telling me that she was the best over the phone when I made my first appointment and I was wondering whether I should be the judge of that?) But she wasn't kidding. I'm Italian, and she got my body sleek and smooth for my trip to the Yucatan. She's fast, organized, extremely meticulous, is very reasonable priced, and has a great sense of humor. Plus she's a beauty! FABULOUS!

Could be good... but cancelled with out telling. Thought this looked like a good place for my fiance to go because of the reviews.. however, after making an appointment she did not call to tell that she couldn't do it so she had driven a long ways to get there only to be turned away at the door. Personally that isn't very professional... like in Seinfeld she knows how to take a reservation just not how to hold the reservation. As far as skill goes she may be the best but we were counting on her to come through and she lost out on some business. She even claims that she is highly sought after so she appears not to care about new clients. Went directly to the Salon of Italy which did a great job and were good. Pricier... but hey we needed their help and they provided. Congrats Salon of Italy! Debra may be good but she did not treat us well and therefore we wont be back. I'm all about the customer service. May your experience be better.
