I'll call these guys again!. Action was fantastic all around looking at both my furnace and A/C and giving both a tune-up!
Fast plumbing fix!!!. I have a horrible septic system that backs up all the time. Action came out and unglogged it in one swoop and gave me suggestions to keep it from clogging again.
Great job!. Who can beat these guys prices? $33 bucks and they tune-up my furnace. Super easy and fast.

Damaged my ceiling.
I hired Action Plumbing to install a new AC unit, replace my old furnace, remove my swamp cooler and replace the cooler with an attic fan.
When they patched the old swamp cooler hole in my hallway, the job was half-assed. About 9 months later, I discovered a leak from when they installed the attic fan. When I called to inform them of the water damage, they sent someone out to look at it. The person said "I don't see any water stains". I was like "are you serious"? The drywall was soft to the touch, and there was a distinct yellow "square" where my swamp cooler vent used to be. After pointing out the obvious to the technician, he told me that he would send out the person who performed the work to take a look at it.
After 1 month and 3 phone calls, I finally got the person out that did the work installing the attic fan and drywall. He said that the drywall "isn't really that bad...just put a fresh coat of paint over the water stains". He went on the roof and put a can of roof-patch (tar stuff) around the flashing of the attic fan and he said that I was "good to go". He refused to repair the water damage that was caused by impropper installation of the attic fan.
There are about a dozen other smaller things that proved this company to be unethical and dishonest. I will never use them again, but I WILL be sure to spread my story around :)
ABSOLUTE "F" GRADE. $50 When a company lies to you from the very get go it is so hard to defend. I am going through a divorce. The father of my children assaulted me three weeks ago. He has not given me ANY money. I am barely keeping my house running! My a/c broke and I did not know what to do. I called Action because I had a $50 off coupon. My two children were so hot in the house. I needed someone to treat me fair and get air back in my home. They over charged me and too add complete insult to everything else DID NOT HONOR THEIR OWN $50 off coupon. I need that $50 to eat. I called the management of Action and they refused to budge!
Really?. Thursday my cooler started to blow warm air I called around and the cheapest (I thought) was Action plumbing. The Tech came by that night and put 1 lb of freon in it to recharge I paid $105.00 and he left. He never checked to see if it would hold the charge . The next day about 12 pm when my cooler was supposed to run again, warm air. I called the tech and he said I must have a leak and said it would be $650.00 to fix, I said thanks any way. Then I call the office to ask about the price and they told me they would have a manager call me back. I waited and finally got a call back and was informed that the manager was on vacation and somebody else would call me back. I finally got a call back around 8pm and was told they wanted to make it right and asked if I would be willing to have a differant tech come by the following day at 10 am, I said yes. Then they called about 9 am the following day and said the tech would be here between 1030 and 1200. It is now 130 pm and nothing, I waited until 230 pm when I finally got a call from the tech. He proceceded to tell me how the $650.00 price was a min. and it would probably be more, I told him my neighbor got his fixed for $250.00, All he wanted to know is who it was, why?. What should it matter to him who it was? He tried to tell me how big his company was and the people I was looking at must be a small company and will be out of busnisess soon , Really? Not once did anyone say that the money I had already paid would go to the new service I just got screwed out of $105.00 and nothing! except still sweating. I did use the other company and guess what, 3 hours work the leak found and fixed. The cooler was compleatly empty and they had to put 6 lbs. of coolant in. This company has been in business for 15 years and the first words out of their mouth was if the fix we do doesn't work the money I paid can be used toward a new unit. The total cost $300.00
They don't value customer time. We called and scheduled our service about a month in advance. They were supposed to come at the end of June, the time when the a/c is definitely necessary. I waited at home during the time they had specified and about an hour into it they called to reschedule my appointment for the end of August!!! I wanted to charge them a cancellation fee. I had set aside that time and if they needed to reschedule they should have done it much earlier, I left plenty of time. And the end of August?! Summer is practically over! If I want my a/c in good working order I want it done before I start using it, not after. They didn't apologize or try to work with me at all. The most they did was say they'd still accept my coupon that expires in July. Action has lost me as a customer.
