Huge Burritos.
If people believe these portions to be small, they must be pigs (no offense, but shrink yo stomachs!). I can cut a Barbacoa burrito in half and have two meals. I have never been disappointed with Barbacoa's freshness or serving size and I am a hungry young man! I love getting all their salsas mixed onto my burrito (which doesn't cost extra :O Misinformation in some reviews). The only drawback is paying extra for guacamole, but I always do anyway. The guacamole is free at our semi-new Chipotle, but I love Barbacoa's spices and seasonings more.
Eat good food and be happy!
Fresh? not so much.. I have been a usual customer as frequently as twice a week for some time. I noticed that the portions are plummeting as well as the service. I asked a questions but unfortunately English was not a first language to the employee. Request anything extra - and you will be charged. There frequent barbacoa card isn't that great; just 2 points for the burrito/salad until you reach something like 25. A little bag of chips is $1.50 compared to cafe rio's for $2.50 for five times the amount. I mentioned that the salad wasn't fresh - no one cares, they just kept piling on the rice. As a long time customer, I can honestly say that I am very disappointed - especially in this location.
Overpriced, Small Serving Sizes. The food is still pretty good, but it has become WAY overpriced and the serving sizes keep getting smaller and smaller. They're half what they were originally. I don't feel the need to personally finance their further expansion. There are plenty of other places out there that offer good, reasonably priced fare.
