Amazing Salon Services...Thanks Chantell!. I received a pedicure from Chantell this week. This was my first time at Akasha, using a gift certificate I received for Mother's Day. Wow - this was AMAZING! I have never had a soft robe, complimentary beverage and ended in a meditation room for any pedicure done at the mall or one of those in and out shops in a strip mall. I was so impressed by the salon and spa I scheduled a hair appt. with her today for color/weaving and a cut. I could go on and on with the list of LOVES I found at this salon and with my experience with my stylist. I will definitely be back and refer people to her. Once inside, you will see why they are a 4-star salon & spa. In fact, she gave me a couple referral cards to share for "Indulge with this $10 gift card" redeemable on any salon or spa service with Chantell". You can try mentioning it "the card" referred by Tammy's comment/post, and she if she can honor it for $10 off YOUR service!! Thank you Chantell & Akasha!!!

Best Salon Ever. I got my hair cut and colored by Jeremiah! It is fabulous just what i wanted and more. Then I ventured into their hidden oasis in the back. Their Spa!! I booked myself a pedicure and waxing appointment with Jen who is the best! I recommend this place to everyone. Very beautiful and friendly staff. Especially the very helpful and friendly front desk girl with the dark hair.

Thank you Akasha. I wanted to take a quick minute to tell everyone how thankful I am that I found this place. My stressful job was becoming overwhelming and then my staff gave me a gift card to Akasha....and I needed it!!! I remember now why me time is so important and I found THE place I want to spend it. My massage with Brie was so amazing that I decided to add a pedicure before I left and it was great too. I will definitely be back and have been telling all my friends. You will love this place.

DO NOT PATRONIZE !!!!. I was the bride to be with kriswyo on Saturday night that experienced the same unethical application of greed by the owner of Akasha. We came back from a wonderful photo shoot for our engagement to find boots around our vehicle wheels. It cost us more to free ourselves from Akasha than our photo shoot did. The parking lot displayed ONE hidden sign with regards to parking, but was completely overgrown with vines. Anyone that would prey on those of us entrapped by this scam is scum!

Terrible ethics. On Saturday evening I was shooting an engagement session with a beautiful couple and we wanted to shoot at the downtown library and parking was scarce but came across the Akasha parking lot which was EMPTY and the building was dark. There were no signs of no parking so parked there for one hour to do a couple pictures. Came back to find our cars booted because the owner had called to have us towed. Come to find out there are signs hidden behind huge branches and bushes that we did not see. I have pictures of everything if you are curious. The owner is obviously out to get anyone for everything they can so beware and do not go to this business.

I now have discovered Akasha salon and spa. I was with a bridal party. We had pedicures and had our makeup done. The first time I wore false eyelashes. We all had a great time and the bride ( my friend) said that it was a great way to start her wedding day. I have been back twice since the wedding. I love this place. My hair has never looked better. Can't wait for my next appointment.

Who knew!. A friend I was staying with recomended I get a massage at Akasha. Living in Santa Monica, I have been to the best spas. I was shocked to find a spa of this caliber in Salt Lake City. I received one of the best massages I have ever had from a therapist named Jessica. My friend said I would be surprised by the atmosphere but I was elated. I was able to take a steambath that was glorious. Next time I am in town, Akasha Spa will be one of my visits. I loved it!!!!

Worst Establishment. Although Akasha has a nice atmosphere, it is definitely not worth the money or the time to attend. The turnover in employees is very high, most likely due to the immaturity of management. When wanting to book another appointment, the staff that is requested no longer works there. Secondly, the management is very unfriendly and not accomodating. If you are willing to spend money for services that Akasha provides take your money else where! Akasha does not value their customers. I was not treated kindly and I felt like they only wanted my money. There were many negative vibes while receiving services and I felt more like an inconvenience than anything. Take your money to a spa and salon that appreciates your business and that will treat you with respect, maturity, and appreciation.

This place is fabulous!!!!. I recently went to Akasha for the first time after receiving a gift certificate from my boyfriend for practically a FULL DAY of services & pampering-by far the BEST gift I've ever received! My massage was so relaxing & really helped relieve my lower back pain, the facial I received was by far the BEST facial I've ever had (& I've had tons of them), & my pedicure was so luxurious & left me with the prettiest toes & softest feet ever! I also had my hair cut & colored & it turned out PERFECT & stunning! I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! I literally left feeling like a million bucks-I will DEFINITELY be back to Akasha-this place is a gem amongst the other, somewhat so-so spas & salons I've experienced in Salt Lake City! Akasha is my new favorite place-I'd give it 10 stars if I could!!!!
