The Scene
Charming yet stylish, Bistro 412 blends perfectly with Main Street's eateries and pricey boutiques. The first floor is crowded with oversized booths and linen-covered tables; wood accents and light bulbs strung from silver cords make the quaint dining room almost chic. Upstairs, in the smoke-free bar, a slightly rowdier crowd, favoring bottled beers over cosmos, noshes from the same menu.
The Food
Famished? Start with an appetizer. Service is notoriously slow, and entrees are modestly sized. Wild mushroom strudel--a medley of diced mushrooms and goat cheese in a flaky phyllo crust--is a light and delicious must-try. Otherwise ordinary coconut shrimp are complemented by exceptional spicy mango vinaigrette. The owner singles out celery root-and-horseradish-crusted salmon as a house favorite--exceptional, yes, but sides (overly cheesy gratin potatoes and a pile of limp green beans) fall flat. Saffron-and-goat cheese raviolis also disappoint, because sweet and creamy butter-sage sauce does little to compensate for the obvious lack of filling.

We were referred by our Hotel Concierge after a not so good dinner at another Park City high end restaurant, and we could not have been happier. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, just like a Paris Bistro, only better. We were a party of 4 and had to wait a little while for a table but it was worth it. The escargot and Tuna appetizers were great. I had the Flat Iron Steak and the Pomme Frites, which was excellent. Everyone in the party thought their meal was exceptional. Our waitress Joey was very nice but professional. The wine list was outstanding although a little pricey. If we weren't leaving tomorrow we would definitely go back. This was our best meal in Park City this week.

I love this restaurant for friends out night. My girlfriends and I love the little bar upstairs, but after a drink we go into the dining room for dinner. The beautifully decorated dining room with French lace and fabrics, photos from France and comfortable seating is my favorite in Park City. The food is really great and my favorite dish is the Organic Chicken Breast with Polenta cakes. The Meze plate is a great appetizer and the Pomme Frites are out of this world. It is especially nice to sit on the Patio right now and people watch on Main Street. Great Place!

The best burger in Park City, bar none! Tasty, charbroiled and big! My friend had the seasonal salade which was very good with really fresh ingredients. The service is professional and quick for lunch. Very friendly waitress, Annette. Nice atmosphere, you feel like you are sitting in a Paris Bistro, a long way from Utah.
