The Scene
Surprisingly bright overhead lights contrast with the dark wood interior--a vestige of the former steakhouse. Thai helmets, wall hangings and flaming wall sconces are nice touches. Adults can spend an evening in conversation or enjoy an early meal before a downtown event.
The Food
Clearly prepared with the American palate in mind, the food is mildly spiced. Among the appetizers, try the lightly fried calamari, or the flavorful chicken or beef satay with peanut and cucumber sauces, but skip wontons made with imitation crab. The soups are standouts: Both Tom Kha Gai, thick with chicken and vegetables in a creamy coconut broth, and Po Tak, laden with seafood in broth sparkling with lemon grass, Kaffir lime leaf and Thai basil--can be ordered in a meal-sized portion. Curries are generous platters of brightly colored vegetables and tender meats, and the seafood dishes like steamed sea bass are house specialties.

This restaurant's food is out of this world. The curry dishes are so good that you would go back the next day just to try a different one. The prices are reasonable and the service is great! This is one of my 2 favorite Thai restaurants in the western half of this country, honestly! Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

I went to this restaurant on Wednesday, June 13, and I?ve to tell you that I's really impressed. First of all they?re having a promotion and it's so inexpensive to eat. I had Pad Thai Noodle (It?s goodddddddddddd) only $7.99, my husband?s salmon green curry was so yummy and it's only $12.99. My server (David) was so attentive and the restaurant?s so romantic. This is the best Thai food we had since we moved here from San Francisco. Keep up the good work, we?ll come back.

This place was a disappointment in that it has beautiful decor and a relaxing atmosphere but extremely average food. It is not worth the price. The service was very inattentive even though the place was almost empty! I would be willing to give it a second try some time, but I'm certainly in no rush.
