The Scene
Bohemian's rustic table settings and ski-lodge decor may not resemble a European grill, but once inside, it's obvious this restaurant offers guests a truly cultural experience. Within the log cabin walls, patrons will find a cozy sanctuary with a fireplace, bar area and plenty of tables for large groups or parties.
The Food
For starters, the brew master basket, featuring light and crispy pilsner-battered halibut with roasted garlic and fries, is a suitable starter to warm you up for the entrees. Try potato-breaded chicken, or go native with pork schnitzel, served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables--a well-seasoned and spicy representation of genuine Czech-style cuisine. Want something meatier? Go for the dish that lives up to its name: Big, Fat and Juicy--a hearty rib eye steak bathed in mushroom demi-glace. Wash it down with a pint of beer (all of them brewed on-site)--like Viennese Lager or Cherny Bock (which means "black goat" in a mix of Czech and German).

If you're looking for something just a little bit different than your ordinary, bland, Utah food... then this is the place! The blackberry brandy chicken is awesome and the PIROGIES & BRATWURST are amazing! The service is always good, even on busy nights and the atmosphere is fun, relaxed and coooool. This place attracts good people and provides for mellow vibes. The beer is great too!

So, here's the deal. My girl and I went here ( we've never been before) and we weren'treally expecting what we found. The food was great, she had pork schnitzel and I the pub steak, but that's not what I'llremember. What I took with me was the outstanding service. Our server made us laugh and we really enjoyed her company. She reccommended a great Shiraz in addition to a wonderful dessert of fruit dumplings. Again the food was good, but it's the service I'll come back for.

Three of us decided to dine at the Bohemian as the other places we tried had over an hour wait. We were told the wait was 20 minutes, and it was. The place was busy so I had good expectations. It took a little longer to receive our food than what I expected it would take, and the food was fair. I would definately drive out of the way and go to Redrock or Squatters if I wanted to dine at a pub again. What I was most surprised at was the added gratuity to my ticket when there was only 3 of us. I expect the gratuity to be added when I've dined in groups of 6 or more, but there was only 3 of us. As I already mentioned, the food was fair and the service was ok. I feel it's wrong for restaurants to assume your dining experience was exceptional and they feel they should receive a full gratuity, because I don't think I would have tipped a full 18%.
