Pleasantly Surprised. When i recieved a gift certificate to The Spa Club, I was hesitant to use it after reading the reviews on Citysearch. But i am glad I did!!!! The staff was extremely welcoming, and held good conversation. They were genuinely conserned with how my day was going, and how they could improve it.

The massage service was good, alothough the noise from Cafe Rio next door could be heard, it wasnt too distracting.

My facail was the best part of the day. The girl had great advise for my skin type, and I ended up buying some product that I LOVE!

Overall, I think that The Spa Club delivers MORE than what you pay for. They certainly have my business.

crappy experience. This was one horriffic spa trip. I was trying to save a buck and booked a massage/facial here. Such a disappointment!!!!! Massage thearpist was VERY ill-trained and nervous when I asked her to work on certain areas. I paid for a 50 minute massage but it was closer to 40. The entire place was so LOUD the whole time I was there. If I wanted to spend money to be stressed out I would go out to dinner with my in-laws.

The owner REFUSED to negotiate giving my money back. Felt very snubbed...like it was my problem not theirs. You should not call yourself the Spa Club and operate like the Utah school of massage therapy...which by the way I have been to and had a better experience there!!!!!

Not worth the $45. This was my first pedicure. I was expecting alot more than I got for the money. It took an hour and the girls were nice. They gave a light foot and leg massage but it wasn't what I was expecting. In my naivety I had no idea the acutal nail polishing would take so long. I do have to say, the color is gorgeous, but the acutal clean up was not to my expectations. I have some little specs on my toes which I suppose will eventually wear or wash off, but for $45 bucks, I would think it would be perfect. I would have rather spent the money on a new cashmere sweater I saw on sale for the same price after I added a tip.

Horrible Beware!!. I had the WORST experience at The Spa Club. Wanted highlights and I ended up with horrible Orange roots all through out my hair. The stylist actually colored it while my hair was wet which is a huge NO. I went back to get it 'fixed', and the result was horrid. So I went to Salon Dante because there was no way I was going to let them mess my hair up even more with a 3rd attempt.

Spent $300 and 6 long hours to fix what The Spa Club messed up. The stylists at Salon Dante were horrified when I showed them how bad it was and said I would have never left their salon looking like that.

The glowing reviews are written by the staff, you can even tell the way it's written--so obvious!!! BEWARE of the spa club.

You Get What You Pay For. Overall, I think the Spa Club is so-so. I had a haircut there, which is so-so. I felt I could've gotten the same haircut from some beauty schools, which would've been cheaper. The massages were pretty good. The massages are probably the only service that's worth of the money. I have pedicures there every 2 months or so. Most of the time, the pedicure was good. However, the last pedicure I had was a disaster. The girl painted my toe nails, and accidentally smeared the nail polish. Instead of removing the mess and re-painting that nail, she painted over and tried to cover up the mess. Yes, I confronted her, but no, she did not re-do it. I didn't want to make a scene over $18 pedicure, but I won't go back for the pedicure again. Actually, I won't renew my membership.
