Simply Fun. We go there as a family 2-3 times a year and are never disappointed. Although our first experience was by far the best we love our return visits. It's a great family experience!

Rooin' Tootin' Family Fun. I have been going to the Desert Star Playhouse for the past 6 or 7 years....in that time I have missed only 6 shows. I think it's a great place for family and friends. I take new people all the time and I always ask me when I am going to go again. It's a new experience everytime and it just keeps getting better. I LOVE THAT PLACE!!!!

GREAT FUN!. You can get serious plays elsewhere, but this is the place to let your hair down and hoot and holler! The players are professional, but really get into spoofing and cutting up. You never know exactly what will happen either, because they throw in ad-libs now and then, just to keep things lively. They're a lot like Rocky and Bullwinkle - great for kids, but the jokes are for adults. Great place to laugh and hav a good time.

6. The service was good and the food was served a little slow. I had the T-bone and my wife the ribs. The steak was large, but had a lot of bone and grissel and lacking in taste. It would have been better if the steak was smaller, but thicker. I tasted my wifes's ribs and they were delicious. I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there again or order the T-bone. Might dine there afain, if I went to the theater.

FALL OUT OF MY SEAT FUN. I was filled with so much laughter it started coming out of my eyes in tears. I've enjoyed every show I've ever seen. From show to show, my family awaits the next family night at the Desert Star Playhouse. I am so happy they're rated #1 in the Best Family Outing--because it truely is one of the best!! Great price, great entertainment, and even though the seats are a little close, we enjoy how we can really enjoy somthing all together. Thanks D.S.P. for all the fun and good memories

Dynamite. This is by far the greatest entertainment anywhere in SLC. We absolutely love this place. You can't go wrong taking your whole family.

My Favorite Date. I go to Desert Star with my husband & family. We all love it! We look forward to that special date night! We eat at the Steakhouse, then catch the show! It is fun! Good humor, good entertainment!

Yum. A steak to die for. It is so tender and yummy. THe portions are huge. I always have to take home a doggy bag!!

simple dining. The steak house is a simple, yet has just the right touch. OUr meals were Hot, fresh and delicious. The portions were just right. Chose the soup over the salad. Service was excellent

Food, Folks, and Fun!. We have had season tickets for about 5 or 6 years. I love the atmosphere and I always have a good time. You'll laugh for sure and sometimes more than you'd like. Scott is my favorite. Especially when he goes out of his way to stump the other actors. We usually get pizza when we go, but last time we tried the steak house. Now that's good steak! I would definitely go there again. The staff was really good about getting us finished before the show started. It's a family tradition we've enjoyed for years and hopefully for years to come.
