Sandy >India House
awesome food served by annoyed people..
I LOVE India House. Is it open yet? The chicken tikka is awesome.
i have liked everything i've had there. as far as the service goes, it seems like it's run by a family and the kids are obligated to work there or these are people who either do not like their jobs, do not like their clientele,or are just totally trapped and being held in waitperson prison. i dunno. don't get me wrong they've NEVER been mean-- i've been there several times. They've just been totally indifferent.
it's fine by me-- i don't have to feel obligated to leave a gigantic tip (i waited tables once myself) and the food is really good. open up! i need my chicken tikka!!
india house NEVER GO!!!!!.
i went to the Restaurant known as india house, and every time I say Hi how are you, i am ignoured, and
say thank you, but never get a your welcome. The only time they will ever talk is if your paying for your food,
and they'll whisper ten nintey five, or whatever the cost is. They continually stare, and make you uncomfortable. I try to ask what thier problem is, and em called White trash as I leave. The food taste like drinking water with pepper in it. So its Bad service bad atmosphere, with RUDE employees. Oh i forgot, they said come back if you want US TO ???? ON YOUR FOOD Disgusting Disgusting, Maybe i'll get a lawyer.
Good service, Great food. I don't know why these other people are complaining on here - we have been there a dozen or more times and EVERY TIME we receive great customer service (come on, all you need is your food in a timely mannor and drinks filled up - do you REALLY NEED A SMILE) they don't smile that often, but like another review, i think it's just cause they are shy. It looks like a dive, but i hear they are remodeling. The food is AWESOME!!! My whole family (all 8 of us) highly, highly recommend this place...
Good Indian Food. The restaurant has good service and reasonable prices. I was unsure of Indian food before going here but their lunch buffet changed all that. You will want to go early because they get very busy for lunch. The best food selection is prior to 12:30. After that you take your chances on what you can get. They continue to re-supply the food items but it can get pretty sparse. The chicken dishes are flavorful and tasty. I have not been for dinner, but I can recommend the lunch buffet if you what to try a variety of dishes.
Avoid on any night, horrible customer service, good food though?!?. This place is horrible, good food, bad service...they screw the people that order out...1/4 filled dinners...bad bread...hair in products and mouthy employees...The only way to get an ok meal is to go to the lunch buffet...its too bad, not many indian food shops left
Tasty and Addictive. I come here a couple times a week to get some lunch at thier buffet. They give me a to-go container to fill it up so I can take it back to work with me. They have vegetarian items on the buffet too! I order Pashwari Naan with it, and it is my favorite- better than Bombay!
Love the food. So while the last reviewer did not care for this restaurant, it is one of my favorites. I guess that is why these are opinions. I agree one of the people who work there doesn't smile all that much (although I think this is more due to them being shy more than anything) the food itself is great. I always get enough to eat and they will bring out more rice if you want. The Chicken Briyani and Seekh Kabab are my 2 favorite dishes and my girlfriend loves the Vindaloo. I also recommend the garlic naan or the keema naan.
Fooling people. I read other comments also and wondering how they came to such a good conclusion. Its just pethatic restaurant.I ordered Paneer Pakoda and was served with 4-5 small pieces .A Quarter coin would be bigger then this. I then ordered Pulav n Paneer makhni, they gave me 4 small pieces of paneer dipped in Tomato Sauce. The pulav was soo great NO taste. they just mixed all the vegetables with rice and put it in front of me. A very bad preparation style and poor service. The serving people look like they have been tortured. there is no smile on there faces. They are just spoiling my country`s name. I think there rates are a bit cheaper then other Indian Rest. but when one goes out for authentic food,They dont look at the money. Its just the taste and satisfaction that matters. I wont suggest anyone to go there.
India house is one of our favorite restaurants.
The food is superb and the lunch buffet is a great deal.
I personally recommend every selection of Chicken Curry as well as the Garlic Naan (bread) and Kheer (a rice pudding for dessert).
Nice people, nice food. This place has the best service, very Indian, unlike some other Indian restaurants I have visted, where the service is quite rude. The food is authentic and the lunch buffet is a good value! Highly recoomended, from a fellow Indian :) .. Keep it up!
