Horrible Treatment. I used to think that The Coventry was a nice place until my Mother lived there for awhile. They have horrible safety practices and due to neglect my mother fell and shattered her shoulder. After my Dad died she moved to a smaller one bedroom which at the time was not cleaned for her my siblings and myself had to go and clean it up for her, they promised her new carpet at that time and after a year and a half she is still living with filthy carpet that will never come clean by cleaning it and I know because I have done it twice myself. The manager has all of the tenants scared of him because he is always threatening to raise their rent. My mother tried to force there hand by telling them she was giving a 30 day notice to try and get the one small room of carpet replaced and after checking I find out that it would only cost them maybe two hundred dollars to do the small space she is requesting to be recarpeted. Now she has recinded her 30 day notice and they are trying to throw her out on her 79 year old butt...dispicable. I don't recommend this place to anyone unless they replace the manager or unless they are looking to rent a 2000.00 dollar a month apartment (one bedroom) that is ran by slumlords. If you love your parents at all do NOT let them go to this facility!!!

The Coventry. I use to think that retirement homes were horrible and depressing. I then was faced with having to try to find a place for my Dad where I wouldn't have to worry about him not having anything to eat or being lonely. I did NOT want him living a hospital room. We finally found the Coventry where it was cozy and nice. It felt like a home when you walked in. He has an apartment of his own, with his own things. They do all kinds of activities, they go shopping and on outings. And I don't have to worry about him driving himself because they take them on a shuttle. They have three meals a day prepared for him. They even do weekly house keeping for him. (I wish I could have the same!) My dad and I are very happy with the Coventry and their staff.

The best care for my grandma. We looked at many retirement places in Salt Lake and were so dissapointed that we almost gave up. We luckily found the Coventry and the Wentworth. From the moment we walked in we were amazed at this beautiful place. My grandma Eddie has her own apartment with her own furniture. Not a dressed up hospital room like we found at other places. We visit her often for lunch and at the many themed events that the staff hosts for the residence and the families and the food is always so good. She could not be happier and we no longer have to worry about her having problems at her old house. Our family is very fortunate.
