After skiing the Canyons, relax at the Grand Summit's upscale, but not overly posh, day spa.. The Scene Arrive early to use the co-ed sauna and eucalyptus steam room, but if you're modest, grab more than one of the available skimpy towels after shedding your terrycloth robe. Afterwards, lounge outside by the gigantic heated swimming pool or in one of the adjacent hot tubs. Locker rooms disappoint: the minuscule changing area lacks body lotion and a makeup application area; showers lack shampoo. Most guests shower in their hotel rooms.
The Services Massages (30, 50 or 75 minutes), facials, body treatments, waxing, manicures and pedicures are offered in large treatment rooms, which are clean without being too sterile. Bed warmers add an extra-special touch and are especially welcome after a day on the slopes. Expert staff is friendly and accommodating; following your massage, therapists take a moment to press the body through the sheet, absorbing excess oil. For deep-muscle penetration, try a hot-stone massage. Similar hot stones are used in the European facials.
