Shaved?! Took our two year old Newfoundland (pure bread), Yogi, to the groomer. We went to this groomers bc the day b4 we had a great convo with a woman who owns newfs and knows how to groom them. well the day we took our newf, we got Melissa, she's new. My fiancé and I took extra time to show Melissa exactly how we wanted him TRIMMED. Yogi was at the groomers from 11:30am to 6pm. We thought it was odd he was there for so long, but he's a 155lbs dog w/ lots of hair. Well, not anymore though bc when we picked him up and his beautiful long Newfie hair was shaved. Completely gone, which is SO bad for water dogs. The only part not shaved is his tail, which had not been washed or brushed. It was obvious she did not listen to our requests AT ALL. Our dog sat in a crate all day, was shaved, and then Petco tried to charge us $92. We did NOT pay. they hire very inexperienced people. DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE.

buying fish. I had a freshwater tank for 2 years and had a bala shark, 2 green spotted puffers and a dojo fish, which all grew so big I had never seen others that big anywhere! Well i decided I wanted to get a algae eater so I went to this petco and got a albino bushy nose pleco I only had him in my tank for a week and then noticed that all my fish had these little white dots all over them I researched it and found out they had ich which is a serious illness that can kill all your fish and plants, I went and spent 60 dollars at another petco to try to cure them but three days after doing the water change and adding the medicine all my fish were dead! I called petco to tell them they need to take better care of there fish and pay more attention to their health before selling them but they acted disconcerned and just offered me a refund of three dollars for the pleco. I dont recommend buying fish from this petco and if you do you should quarentine them in a seperate tank for longer than a week before mixing them with other fish.
