The Red Cross is best known for disaster relief. From family fires to national catastrophes, the Red Cross helps the community move on and get back to the daily routine. Services include teaching people in the community how to prepare for and prevent emergencies and disasters, as well as international social services. Casework activities help military families around the globe, and youth classes reach out to children in schools, encouraging them to become volunteers at an early age.
