Dentists >South Temple Dental
He's a really nice guy and a great dentist.
Great Dentist. He's young, friendly, approachable and talkative without being overly so. No invasive forced conversation. I loved that they offered communication through texts so I didn't have to slog through voicemails and callbacks. They listen to music through pandora and allow you to choose your musical preference which was another great touch.
As far as actual dental work, he was very thorough. I had rather substantial fillings and they look amazing. Much better than my last dentist. The assistant nurses were great as well.
great dentist. I have been going here for a few years and they have always been great! Easy to schedule appointments, and great dental care.
Love This Place!!!.
I have been going to South Temple Dental for over 2 years now, When I first started going to the Dr. Shakespeare I was terrified, I used to have a huge issue going to any dentist....... until I went to South Temple Dentistry. I was diagnosed with Periodontal Disease, Which just happens to be a series of very painful deep deep gum cleanings. They have been absolutely great!!! Dr. Shakespear has always been very gentle and caring and I have made a full recovery. I can finally say I no longer dread going to the dentist.
When I got my root canal done it was very quick and there was no pain..... I haven't had any issues with the tooth since. Dr. Shakespear fixed it and it didn't even hurt the following day. I highly recommend this dentist!!!! 06/22/2009
Under new ownership. Just an update to the previous review. The ownership of South Temple Dental has changed since the previous review was posted. I hope you can give us a chance and know that any past problems were not associated with current ownership. Thanks
They Would Rather Whiten Teeth Than Help Patients in Pain.
I went to South Temple Dental because the are located close to my house, and I have regretted it ever since. What should have been a routine root canal turned into an 8 hour ordeal that ended with a drill being broken off in my tooth. They took two more eight hour visits to put the crown on, and a year later the tooth started to hurt again (something that should not happen if a root canal is properly done).
I went back to them, mistakenly believing that because they were the practice to work on the tooth before that they would be the best practice to work on it again, and it seems that they failed to remove all of the decay and that the tooth must now be completely extracted at an add ional cost to myself. Once I was told this I asked to speak to the office manager because I was very unhappy about the entire situation, and I was told that they would call me within two days. It has now been over three weeks and I have not heard from anyone.
During every visit to the office, including the emergency visit when the tooth began to hurt, the people at the practice seemed more concerned with offering me teeth whiting or selling me sonic tooth brushes then with actually fixing my tooth. I was actually sitting in the dental chair crying because I was in so much pain and they were pestering me about setting up a check up for April!
I would not recommend this practice to anyone because they only care about getting your money, and they are incompetent when it comes to procedures.
