SOMA Studio in Salt Lake City is a true gem - a sparkling gem! This is the place to go if you are serious about your yoga and getting top notch instruction. If you spend more energy trying to match your yoga top and bottom to your yoga mat, then this is not the studio for you. There isn't any yoga-posing here....the students and teachers are all about yoga, opening the body and the mind. The studio is very inviting and has a great enery about it. I've practiced for 6 years - in Seattle and SLC - and this is by far my favorite studio to practice and learn. ~nAmaStE

After having studied at several other local studios, I finally checked out Soma. What took me so long! Soma's classes are head and shoulders above the rest. With a lineup of amazing teachers (surprisingly, they aren't yet well-known nationally but they seem to have trained nearly every top teacher in town) each class I've taken has blown my mind both mentally and physically. The place doesn't impress from the outside, but walk inside and it's the most welcoming beautiful place in town, with friendly staff and teachers. This is definitely Salt Lake's best kept yoga secret.
Pros: amazing teachers, beautiful interior, good parking
Cons: , outside is unassuming
