Spend your money elsewhere!!!.
If you are looking for the fantastic feast that is in a Brazilian churrasco, then look someplace else. Large empty & cold room, slooooow service, below average food (except the desserts), and
EXTREME over pricing will leave you wishing you had gone to anywhere else.
the owner is also extra creepy, a mix between alfred hitchcock and batman's penguin, he looked at my girlfriend like she was the most appetizing piece of meat in the restaurant. DON'T GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR MONEY!…
BAD Reviews? Believe them!.
There are two types of reviews for Samba Grill ? The BAD reviews from actual CUSTOMERS and then the ?Bad? reviews from family and friends of the owners, that try to convince you that this is actually
a GOOD place.
Samba Grill is mediocre, at best. The meat tends to be dry, stringy, tough, unflavorful and salty. The Salad Bar is a Joke. It is the worst salad bar that I have ever seen at a place like this. The staff service is not horrible, but it is slow and not very attentive.
Obviously, most of the customer reviews here are from people who were disappointed in their experience. If you look at the ?Stars? given by actual reviewers, they probably average about 2 stars. If the owners of Samba Grill really cared, and really knew what they were doing, they would listen to the reviews from their disappointed patrons and make improvements, rather than seeming to take it as a personal affront and commissioning their family and friends to write ?homer? reviews extolling their virtues. The bad reviewers are not writing bad reviews because they don?t like YOU. They are writing bad reviews because something was wrong with their EXPERIENCE. If you are a customer and you want a GOOD experience, go to Rodizio in Salt Lake, Tucanos in Provo/Orem (worth the drive for the Salad Bar alone), or even Braza Grille or "Grille from Ipanema."
Meanwhile, because of how Citysearch is set up, the 4 stars at the top is obviously from their staff reviewer whose experience seems to be different from the average customer review. Samba Grill should thank their lucky stars that they got such a good review at the beginning because it probably has kept them in business.…
Dont Believe ME? google it!. This place is horrible! But I am tired of letting people know that, if you don't believe me than go to the other 50 some reviews on Google.... Type in Samba Grill Utah... and click reviews... I personally stopped payment on this restaurant.…
Samba.. Doesnt know what they're doing. My wife and I went to samba grill this past weekend. I was rather disappointed. The service was absolutely terrible. It seemed as if everyone there didnt know what they were doing. The only person there who seemed to know what they were doing was the busser (Mike). It seemed we had to rely on him for everything to be done. We gave him a $5 personal tip as a thank you. The food was awful, it was over priced and over cooked. The meat service was slow and we had no i dea where our real server was. I recommend to not go there. I know that my wife and i will never be dining there again.…
Read My Lips...DON'T GO!. There's a reason for the empty tables on Valentine's Day, and that the first question the waiter asks is, "Have you been here before?" It's because people don't go back there, so it's full of first-timers! I worked as a server for two years in one of Utah's premier steakhouses, so I know good food and good service. Neither exists at the Samba Grill. Our table had no tablecloth, no napkins (utensils placed right on the table), no salt, no pepper, no water, no bread, and the room had no heat and no ambiance. The napkins never came, so we found some ourselves, the water came only after repeated requests, and when we complained to the manager, nothing happened. Of course she had said she would take care of it. The meat rarely came, and when it did, it was with attitude, or the same as before (pork three times in a row), or stingy portions, or inedible. Of course it didn't start to come until after we were nice and full on salads and potatoes. Salad bar costs extra (some buffet), and a poor selection at that. What really did it for me was biting into a bad chicken wing. Yes, meat that had gone bad, folks! What we did get a lot of was waiting and wanting. About the tastiest thing was the Coke, which was never refilled, of course. There's a reason for the long wait or full reservations at Rodizio's, they're worth it. Two lemonades: $10.00, two buffets $43.00, total tab for two with tip, $70.00. The friends we went with never speaking to us again, priceless.…
