Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. A fun place for breakfast, friendly service, a wide variety of choices from baked apple pancakes the size of a souffle, to delicate crepes or hearty bacon and eggs. Quarters are close, so don't expect much privacy, but bring the kids, you'll have a great time and a full stomach.

What a wonderful discovery for a breakfast restaurant. It was our time today and we'll be back. The lines are long but move quickly. The menu is extensive and the French Toast, Crepes and Potato Pancakes are nothing but outstanding. In spite of being very busy this morning (New Year's day) the food and the service was excellent and we were not rushed out the door. We will try the East Belleview location next time since it is closer to us.
