The Scene
This charming, reasonably priced, single accommodation cottage is perfect for visiting couples or business travelers who want an escape from the sterile, corporate hubbub. It's located in an upscale residential district on the quiet end of the downtown fringe and looks like the ultimate backyard playhouse.
The Details
The interior includes a Jacuzzi tub with Tuscan tile work and a small living area furnished with a gas fireplace, DVD player and modem line with high-speed broadband Internet connection. A surprisingly roomy kitchen leads into the sage green bedroom, which is dominated by the soft queen bed. Gentle muted colors provide a soothing tone, and handmade pottery is displayed throughout, most boldly in the ceramic bowl sink in the bathroom. The cottage's owners live next door and deliver a homemade continental breakfast every morning.

My hubby had been out-of-town for 6 months. He wanted to treat me to a romantic homecooked meal his first night home, only problem- we live with my parents. I am so honored that I stumbled upon My Little Cottage. The earthly tones and shaded place keeps you cool during summer. The fireplace made watching our movie warm and toasty. We would enjoy the types of tiles in our own home. He has never had such a good nights rest in our entire 5 years of marriage, where can I buy that bed? Our only regret= we changed our reservation from four nights to one. If this place were for sale, we'd buy! Thank you to the family that made this available, we will never stay in a hotel again. The security guard for the apartments across the street makes you feel safe.
Pros: jetted tub superb, showerhead Awesome!
Cons: a sound system for romantic dancing would make place Perfect!

This place was great. We were looking for a great place to stay during the honeymoon, and we came upon here. The main thing that caught our attention was the fact that it had a kitchen. Not only that, but a living room and a jacuuzi/shower (which was really fun). It was comfortable, clean, beautiful and homey on the inside, and most of all, Private! The price was good, and the kitchen is stocked with breakfast foods and goodies. I definately recommend this place to all those who visit.
Pros: Privacy, comfort, and a stocked kitchen
Cons: perfect size for us, but might border on too cozy for some
