Truly one of the most elegant ski resort properties in the nation, this small inn is reminiscent of those charming properties in the European Alps. It boasts hand-painted furniture, rich wood accents, fresh flowers in rooms and common areas, and a reputably knowledgeable staff. Located at 8,000 feet, this ski-in/ski-out property pampers guests from head to toe.
The Details
From the imported Austrian furniture and Frette linens, to the plush down comforters and luxury bathroom amenities, the inn is heads above the rest. Every suite has a king-size bed, and most include private balconies and wood-burning fireplaces. The indoor/outdoor hot tub is a treat after a day's ski, and the superb Goldener Hirsch Restaurant, serving continental food in an Austrian setting, is worth staying in for.
