Fun Friday Night!!!. This is a fun friday night adventure. There's a new gallery on the stroll too called Atelier.180. I liked the variety of the work. It's about 1/2 block east of the Gateway on 200 S. Opposite direction of Art Space. We went to a number of the galleries, but I really like the work here.

Take a stroll down gallery lane and explore Salt Lake's aesthetic underground.. Overview
The best time to gallery hop is during Salt Lake City's monthly Gallery Stroll. This popular event is sponsored by the Salt Lake Gallery Association and has been ongoing since 1983. Currently, there are more than 20 participating galleries, most of them in the downtown and Pierpont Avenue areas. The stroll is held every third Friday of the month (first Friday in December) from 6pm to 9pm. Maps are available at any of the Gallery Association's member galleries and sponsor locations.

The Experience
Among the most popular stops are Salt Lake Art Center's photography exhibitions and Art Access Gallery's craft and pottery displays. You can usually find some great abstract sculpture at Phillips Gallery, or some offbeat watercolors at Leftbank Gallery. Since most participating galleries offer refreshments like wine and cheese, less-than-artistic types will have a good time as well.
