The warm, welcome bar in the Prospector Square Marriott Hotel is a cozy, classy hideaway.. The Scene
With warm wood tones and comfy chairs around its fireplace, Timbers provides a cozy place to relax after skiing. Though it's a hotel bar, it has more personality than you might expect. Old skis and snowshoes line the walls and curtained, fire-lit interior make Timbers a nice place to hide from the cold and the crowds. It's not exactly a locals-only joint, but it lacks the showy tourist attitude of high-season Main Street.

Perks
Deep, soft chairs around the fireplace are complimented by a decent selection of cigars, a long wine list and a moderate selection of microbrews. Timber's is a private club so there's a full bar and smoking is permitted.

The Verdict
Marriott spent a pretty penny to make this more than your average hotel bar. The result is appreciated.
