Upscale but casual with white linens, copper salt-and-pepper shakers and cast-iron serving ware, it's a seductive place for a romantic dinner. – – The Food – Traditional bistro cuisine with contemporary touches includes specialties from the wood-burning oven like slow-roasted herb chicken and braised lamb shanks in addition to pastas, soups and salads. A lot of money for poor service

by cherylopry at Citysearch

Our office has a group of 6 go up and the service was just sub-standard for as much as you pay for your meal. You shouldn't have to ask for silverware. It wasn't crowded. There's just no excuse. Some of the meals were good but if you don't provide good service then it ruins everything.

Amazing Difference!

by msucf at Citysearch

If you are always looking for the hidden gem of dining--you have found it at Bistro Toujours! The location, at mid mountain in Deer Valley, is a stretch, but so completely worth the drive up the mountain. Chef Scott Boberek works the floor, the kitchen and his suppliers like a pro--always giving the guest the perfect end product. The wine list was amazing--I could find something intriguing in every price category.

Finally, the service. Smiles, attentiveness and perfection come to mind! I highly recommend Bistro Toujours for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are new to Deer Valley, don't miss stopping here during skiing and avoid the cheesey lines at the BUFFET at Deer Valley.

  • Pros: Heated parking, Great Food!, Service with a smile
  • Cons: , no fireplace

Superb dining!

by schmoovey at Citysearch

Tucked away amidst the slopes of the Deer Valley ski resort, Bistro Toujours is a cozy mid-sized French restaurant partnered with Le Chateaux Hotel.

Excellent service, a friendly, but not overbearing staff, and superb French/traditional dining!

Our delicious meal started with roasted garlic/butter, baquette, Brie (baked in a thin batter topped w/almonds, honey, and blueberries), apples, pears, and grapes. Our entrees included the beef au poivre, and rack of lamb. Superb!

Of course, I had to save room for dessert - I chose the Tuille... berries with a vanilla cream and pastry that melted in my mouth! Excellent!

Higher per-plate prices than most chain restaurants, but you don't eat here just for the food. The atmosphere and excellent service is why you dine here.

I'm definitely putting this restaurant at the top of my favorites! Best in the SLC area!

  • Pros: Cozy, Romantic, Good food
  • Cons: Out of the way, Limited Menu

A Park City Gem

by miroskal at Citysearch

We visited couple highly rated restaurants in Park City (Riverhorse Cafee, Chimayo, Cabin), and this one beats them all. Atmosphere very quiet, cozy, almost intime. Rooms tastfully decorated. Plenty of space between tables. Very professional, pleasant, attentive, but unobtrusive service. Extensive list of expensive and rare wines (with less expensive frequently out of stock). Knowlegable sommelier.

Food was absolutely excellent, with the best onion soup and fillet mignon I ever had. Desserts heavenly, espresso like in Paris: small, thick, very aromatic and not bitter. Portion size was just as it should be to look decent after 7 course meal. If you want more calories and , go to any American-Italian restaurant.

  • Pros: Great food, Great service, Great ambience
  • Cons: Wines expensive

Thank you, Bistro Toujours!

by jlfischer at Citysearch

After being rudely turned away from "Chenez" down in Park City (I made reservations for 7 at 8pm and the owner told me "no, they were for 8:30" and told us to leave!!) we very gladly drove up Deer Valley to Bistro Toujours. Since it was our 1st anniversary we wanted a special meal and the staff helped make it such! The food was wonderful and it made us forget the rudeness of the owner of Chenez. Thank you Bistro Toujours for helping make our 1st anniversary special! We will be back!
