A lot of money for poor service. Our office has a group of 6 go up and the service was just sub-standard for as much as you pay for your meal. You shouldn't have to ask for silverware. It wasn't crowded. There's just no excuse. Some of the meals were good but if you don't provide good service then it ruins everything.…
Amazing Difference!.
If you are always looking for the hidden gem of dining--you have found it at Bistro Toujours! The location, at mid mountain in Deer Valley, is a stretch, but so completely worth the drive up the
mountain. Chef Scott Boberek works the floor, the kitchen and his suppliers like a pro--always giving the guest the perfect end product. The wine list was amazing--I could find something intriguing in every price category.
Finally, the service. Smiles, attentiveness and perfection come to mind! I highly recommend Bistro Toujours for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are new to Deer Valley, don't miss stopping here during skiing and avoid the cheesey lines at the BUFFET at Deer Valley.…
The comforting silkiness of traditional French cooking coupled with warm surroundings make this a local favorite..
The Scene
Tucked away in the elegant Chateaux condominium hotel, this had-to-be-French restaurant provides a unique dining option for those skiing Deer Valley or doing business in Park
City. Upscale but casual with white linens, copper salt-and-pepper shakers and cast-iron serving ware, it's a seductive place for a romantic dinner.
The Food
Traditional bistro cuisine with contemporary touches includes specialties from the wood-burning oven like slow-roasted herb chicken and braised lamb shanks in addition to pastas, soups and salads. Signature dishes inspired by classic French preparation include seared foie gras and escargots. The mussel and saffron "cappuccino" is delightful; the seared foie gras served on a diver scallop is decadent. The cassoulet toulousain with white bean, duck confit, bacon, lamb-garlic sausage, tomato and thyme will transport you to Provence. Leave room for crème brûlée or gâteau au chocolat.…
Superb dining!.
Tucked away amidst the slopes of the Deer Valley ski resort, Bistro Toujours is a cozy mid-sized French restaurant partnered with Le Chateaux Hotel.
Excellent service, a friendly, but not overbearing staff, and superb French/traditional dining!
Our delicious meal started with roasted garlic/butter, baquette, Brie (baked in a thin batter topped w/almonds, honey, and blueberries), apples, pears, and grapes. Our entrees included the beef au poivre, and rack of lamb. Superb!
Of course, I had to save room for dessert - I chose the Tuille... berries with a vanilla cream and pastry that melted in my mouth! Excellent!
Higher per-plate prices than most chain restaurants, but you don't eat here just for the food. The atmosphere and excellent service is why you dine here.
I'm definitely putting this restaurant at the top of my favorites! Best in the SLC area!…
A Park City Gem.
We visited couple highly rated restaurants in Park City (Riverhorse Cafee, Chimayo, Cabin), and this one beats them all. Atmosphere very quiet, cozy, almost intime. Rooms tastfully decorated. Plenty
of space between tables. Very professional, pleasant, attentive, but unobtrusive service. Extensive list of expensive and rare wines (with less expensive frequently out of stock). Knowlegable sommelier.
Food was absolutely excellent, with the best onion soup and fillet mignon I ever had. Desserts heavenly, espresso like in Paris: small, thick, very aromatic and not bitter. Portion size was just as it should be to look decent after 7 course meal. If you want more calories and , go to any American-Italian restaurant.…
