Good drinks. not bad, a little pricey for the alcohol content in there but the atmosphere is fun

At Least The Musics Good. The weekend DJ is awesome! He plays the best mix of old school hip hop that gets EVERYONE pumped up & ready to have a good time. The dance floor is itsy bitsy (saying it's tiny is an understatement) & the turnaround time for drinks is slower than molasses. You can always wait up at the bar, which is slightly quicker, but Utah law makes you unable to carry more than 2 drinks back to your table (whatever you do, do NOT leave your table unattended, it's a SMALL bar so there's always people waiting to snatch up seats). Its a good place to START your night, maybe sit - have a few drinks - then head off to a larger club.

Huge selection. The previous review from ?wendora? sums up my and my husband?s experience at Kristauf?s perfectly. We like to arrive at about 9 pm before it gets too crowded and loud and smoky. The wait staff is very good at answering our questions and helping us make a selection from their extensive and delectable martini menu.

It's Two, Two Clubs in One. Every time I have gone to Kristauf's, generally pretty early in the evening, it has been nearly empty. I have sat with my friends at the bar, or in the comfortable red pleather chairs at the small tables, and enjoyed a few martinis. The menu is huge, and encourages experimentation of the martini kind. It's casual and relaxed, dare I say even a little tiny bit boring? The staff is usually helpful and willing to put up with all sorts of questions regarding "what's good?" The music is okay, ranging from classic rock to 80's hits. Then, at about 10:30 or 11:00, it seems that all hell breaks loose. Suddenly, there is a DJ playing hip hop and the place is full, and everyone is getting jiggy and has on sparkly outfits. And because I've had a few martinis, I either join in the jigginess or get scared and go home. So, if either of those vibes sound like your cup of tea, plan your trip to Kristauf's with time in mind, and take your pick of what seems like two very different clubs.
