The Scene – Originally conceived as an all-night, alcohol-free dance club, the former Plan B has undergone a makeover and is now perched to be the hippest bar in Park City. The colorful surroundings designed by Hollywood art director Bruce A. Miller are unique and inspired--exactly what you'd expect from the man who helped create moods for the movies "Apollo 13" and "Scream." The result is a kind of technofied vision of Adam and Eve at a rave somewhere in the South Seas. – – The Draw – In addition to live reggae, rock, jazz, funk and DJs on the weekends, Plan B has two…

PLAN B is the "no attitude" alternative to the two other large clubs in the Park City area. Great staff (they also sling drinks at locals favorite pub "JB Mulligans") and fair prices. The "B" owns Friday nights with their $1.00 drink specials but also rocks with live bands (Psychadelic Furs, Damion Marley) and is THE PLACE to be during the Sundance Film Festival when it struts it's stuff as "The Official Music Venue of the Sundance Film Festival" with unreal acts like Johnny Lang, Black Eyed Peas, Ben Harper, Joe jackson, Edie Brickell, Was Not Was blowing the "B" up! Post-Teenybopper whiners should go down the street to Harry-Os. Plan B is the real deal.
- Pros: Good Parking, Chill staff, Great Sound System
- Cons: , Hard to find
Can I get a drink over here?
by mrman
Came up from slc on respected musical friends word that the place is cool. The club looks great and the band "Sunhouse Healers" were really good! even with a small crowd. The employees were "too cool" bartenders, and kind of rude!! Can somebody get me a drink? Ever heard of "coctail waitess". This place has big city club potential, but needs some help on the service and atmosphere side. Only open Fri and Sat??????
I hear $1 drinks on friday is a good time, and with the right acts I would go again!
- Pros: cheap drinks, large space, no crowd
- Cons: too cool bartenders, no crowd, no coctailers
