no more chocolate fondue..... They must be under new management, they no longer offer the Godiva fondue. I'm sure the food is still good and maybe the service, but if they don't offer this exclusive dessert, then why go? There are a lot of places in Park city that offer excellent food....

AWESOME DESSERT. For a Godiva Chocolate Fondue soooo delicious, this is the place. Fresh fruit and cheeses for dipping...During the off season, the Cabin has been known to offer a 2 for 1 special, and if 4 people go, you get this incredible dessert free. Four of us have gone, split a bottle of wine, and spent under $100 including tip. Not bad for PC!d

Ralph Lauren meets Tonto in this cozy, low-key, apres-ski setting.. The Scene
Log cabin setting with remarkably real-looking papier-m?ch? aspen trees, low lighting, fireplace and oversized wooden chairs. The feel is mostly casual as guests of the Grand Summit Resort Hotel pour in after a day of skiing.

The Food
Don't miss sampling a few of the nicely designed appetizers. Try the smoked salmon and trout plate with fried capers, dill cream and toasted brioche or the summer vegetable pot stickers with Thai cucumber salad and peanut vinaigrette. For an entree, try the barbecued halibut with spicy vegetable lasagna, roasted corn salsa and a cilantro cream that's unique and nicely smoky. The accompanying side dishes are incredibly fresh. Goat cheese-stuffed free-range chicken with whipped potatoes, baby vegetables and truffled tomato vinaigrette makes for gourmet comfort food. The menu is modest in size and changes weekly. A nice wine list and full bar menu are available.

This ain't a poor log cabin. Expensive is the word here. I guess you have to pay for the scenery. Still, I'd have been happier with less view and more for my money.

The drinks were watery and the food was blah. But I did pay big for it.
