This is in regards to the West Valley City location..

Well I have to say this place has been going through changes. Well... with comics. I have been going since it was all ghetto, and pretty much still is. I always ate the nachos, that is the only thing that USED to be good at this place. I went there last weekend and I don't know what happened.

To owner/manager: tell your cook in the back he needs to cook the food ALL THE WAY. lol I laughed when I took a bite. Last time I was there was Angelah Johnson and the food was good and got to me way fast, despite how packed the place was.

Servers are still slow and have an attitude of " I just don't care" and smell soaked in cigarette smoke. I would hate for this place to be like the old Denny's across the street...

So checklist: Hire a new cook/kitchen staff that knows how to cook. I swear the food used to be out to us so quick and be awesome and that's what I loved.

Tell your servers/bussers to chew gum or spray cologne or just relax until after the show to smoke.

I hope to come back, but I just don't know..

Hey "James" instead of going around on different review sites with an alias why don't you be a man and confront your issues with Brian yourself rather than involving people who have nothing to do with whatever beef it is that you have with him. While this may be fun and games for you, you're causing a lot of issues for innocent bystanders and that's really not okay.

Wiseguys. Wiseguys has been 'uping their game' and have been bringing in great shows. The have a nice mix of local talent and some national comedians that seem to love the Wiseguys stage and the Utah crowds. I recently saw Jim Breuer from SNL and Ralphie May and have heard that Joe Rogan, Charlie Murphy and Bill Burr are on the way!

I used to attend comedy clubs when I lived in California and Wiseguys is amazingly cheap. I am surprised they have only a one drink minimum. In LA and Las Vegas their places have 2 drink minimums and the drinks there are watered down.

Just a word of advice!. You cannot use the 2 for 1 coupon at the Trolley Square location, even though it says you can online. Also, there is a $1 charge to use your credit card so bring cash. The venue itself is nice. It's where the old Hard Rock Cafe used to be. The room is a bit smaller than their other locations. Not much in elbow room, but there are really high ceilings so at times it can be a little harder to hear the comedian. I contacted Wiseguys because I was upset I couldn't use my coupon and they responded very quickly and refunded me the money. I thought that was really nice and obviously they are concerned that their patrons leave happy. The food was pretty good, but I only had the sampler apptz. I did see other people order nachos and burgers and they looked yummy. I do recommend this place, but just know you can't use a coupon, no matter what is says online.

Best Time Ever. Wiseguys is a great place for a good laugh my friends and I try to catch a show at least once a week. the headliners that come through are always fresh and garantee a good time. last time I went in I didnt' need the two for one coupon the price was only $5 so its cheeper than a movie. and try the nachos they're the best.
