The BOMB!. Hires is the best!! I live in Arizona and whenever I go to Utah to visit relatives, we HAVE to stop at Hires. The food and service and heck even price are awesome. You will crave their juicy hamburgers and salty onion rings once you have been here. A ++++

Hires.....yawn!. I was craving a bug juicey hamburger, so I decided to pop on over to Hires for lunch. I ordered their signature burger to go and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally after 25 min of WAITING for a BURGER I asked the cashier how much longer it would be. He gave me a soggy, mediocre burger with a very small portion of fries. My iced tea should have been called ice and tea and ice. It was way too expensive for a mediocre burger. Next time I want a real burger I will head to the Training Table or Crown Burger.

Hires Big H is a classic American drive-in: Drive up, turn on your headlights for service and enjoy your dinner from a tray propped on your car window. Or, if you don't want crumbs in your car, you can dine inside. A popular place with families and couples on dates.

The Food
Choose from a selection of hamburgers, fries, shakes and sandwiches--everything you'd expect from a drive-in, plus a couple of surprises like a veggie burger. The Hires Big H is the signature hamburger--a quarter-pound of beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and fry sauce make this burger simply dreamy. (Get lots of napkins--it can get messy.) Or try one of the many variations, like the Country H with bacon. The onion rings are cut thick and fried until golden brown.

yum yum!!. My personal favorite is the Golden H. It has onion rings, tomato, lettuce, & a sauce. I recommend it to everyone.

Blue Bacon Heaven. This is where you will be if you eat this cardiac delight! It is a triglyserides nightmare but it is worth every artery clogind bite

Hires Big H is the real thing!. My husband and I, having moved to Florida, made a list the other night of the things we miss most about Salt Lake. Hires Big H was in the top ten...where else can you go for a perfect, old-fashioned burger with real fries, real milkshakes, or a real vanilla coke? Hands down, Hires Big H is the real deal.

Good overall. Hires doesn't have what I consider to be a *great* burger, but what they serve is quite tasty. Good fries, shakes, etc. But I sure could go for a Fatburger.
