Editorial Review for Rusted Sun Pizzeria – by Robyn Galbos
The Scene
It doesn't look like much from outside, but inside, it's friendly and casual. There's a handful of wide booths and stools at the counter. The earth-toned colors on the walls and a game on the TV make for a pleasant atmosphere.
The Food
The menu features big salads, hot sandwiches, a variety of pastas, pizzas and calzones. Order one of the house pies (the buffalo chicken pizza is a good choice) or create your own with one of the many available toppings--from anchovies to zucchini. Pizzas are on New York-style crusts and have fresh, whole-milk mozzarella cheese. Choose from a variety of pizza sauces, including marinara, alfredo or barbecue. As for pastas, the sausage penne is a hearty choice. For something on the lighter side, order the Caesar salad.

Damn Good Pizza but over priced. The service was horrible I ordered ahead and waited an hour in a half. I will go back for the pizza but to hell with the service

I am not a huge fan of pizza but I crave the Rusted Sun. I LOVE their killer cheese dip. The dip contains mozzarella, Romano and cream cheeses blended with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach and artichoke hearts. I also love the pesto chicken pizza. This pizza comes with mozzarella, chicken, artichoke hearts, red onion, pine nuts and the pesto sauce. There isn’t a lot of room inside this restaurant and sometimes it gets very crowded and the service can be a little slow but I keep going back for that addictive dip!
Pros: Great food
Cons: can get crowded and service can be slow
