The Scene
After a day on the slopes--or a couple of hours in the nearby outlet mall--head in for a well-deserved margarita and some surprisingly good Mexican food. Kids get crayons to pass the time until the food arrives, while Mom and Dad can enjoy a drink. Try a Margarita de Loco--costly, but well worth it--made with Herradura Anejo tequila, Cointreau and Grand Marnier.
The Food
Many head to the Loco Lizard just for the mole--two varieties are offered: a mild, dark red and a spicier yellow. Both are served in a multitude of ways--over chicken or enchiladas, etc. The carnitas (cubed pork, instead of the traditional pulled) are terrific and heartily peppered up. Fish tacos are also popular, usually made with salmon. The usual combination dinners are also quite good. Lighter choices include four different salads, along with black bean and tortilla soup. And don't forget dessert--try margarita pie or flan.

We visit Park City every year and Loco Lizard is our favorite restaurant. It never disappoints. It is our 1st stop as we reach town. We start talking about it before we leave NY. We wish they would open one in NY. The atmosphere is casual and fun. We feel there are not many family friendly restaurants in Park City and Loco Lizard goes above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. There are so many items we have tried that it is hard to name a favorite. In such an expensive town it is welcome to see a restaurant catered to the locals and families like us. Go and enjoy. Can't wait until next year. P.S. The margaritas are great!!!

This restaurant offers good food, reasonable prices, and the best service in Park City. When we want a quick meal, Loco Lizard is the place to go. It is also family friendly.
