Editorial Review for Crossroads Plaza – by Michelle Merrill
In Short
In these four floors dedicated to shopping, Nordstrom and Mervyn's are the two big department stores. Specialty stores include Turquoise Connection, Toshiko, U.S. Olympic Spirit Store, I. Kim and Showplace Novelty & Magic. The food court is like any other mall court, with some exceptions; if you want more than pizza, you can stop here on your next lunch break for a heaping serving of pad thai to go.

In 2002 thase reviews may have accurate. but in 2006 anyone going by them will be in for a nasty shock. Nordstrom's is still there (under city duress) but the rest of the mall is a ghost town. iI has, maybe, a 5% occupancy rate, probaly less. There are entire levels that are vacant. For all pratical purposes, since the Gateway has opened, Crossroads is now vacant. The LDS Church (the Mormons) has purchased the place and said that they have big plans for it. But these have not been show publicly, or even described except in very wide generalities. For now, except for Nordstrom's, you'd be better off shopping in a warehouse district on Sunday.
Pros: Lots! of parking
Cons: No stores
